be careful, this hostel is situated on very loud street, loud parties until 4-5 AM, impossible to sleep. area is NOT safe. staff was arrogant and unhelpful. it's not safe, there is a bar in the hostel where everyone can go. will never stay there again!

Place was one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at, except for the huge apparent drug dealer shaking down rooms in the morning. Outside of that, top notch. Cheers.

Like everyone says - very loud and bustling. You must bring ear plugs if u need a long, deep sleep! very helpful and nice staff. Got my mobile pickpocketed in the street outside, watch out! (not the hostel's fault)

It is right in downtown, Party every night, very nosy because of a Disco just across the street. If you want to get a lot of sleep juring the night, this is not the hostel. A really great Hostel I loved...Party on !!

We were not advised that the hostel would be hired out for private functions!! The party was in a room three doors down from our bedroom and partygoers who were drunk tried to enter during the night... in the middle of the Cape town's fun, so you need earplugs to sleep if you dont party, but the rest is ok. The only problem is 1 bathroom in the 1st floor for people in the bar and for the guests.

It was also extremely noisy, with live music on the friday night and a DJ playing house music until about 5 am on the Saturday morning. Don't stay here if you want a good nights sleep.close

Unbelievably noisy until 3am every night! Stayed there 3 nights and left in a severly sleep-deprived state. Staff was helpful if pushed but seemed annoyed at standard travel questions. Our verdict: If all else fall through, then maybe...

The long street is a good place to have fun. If you like a place to relax it is too noisy. On 2 day's a week it is livemusik. It is excellent if you like to join this. If not, it will disturb you probably.

Great place, central, great bar area.....can be a bit noisy....music going till all hrs...we heard UB40 for 2 days.....early morning staff cleaning....way too early to be that loud. Great place though...staff excellent, very helpfull. Thanks

A nice place to stay, with comfortable beds, good guest kitchen, and usually hot showers. The only problem was the loud music in the bar most nights, which went very late and was not conducive to a good night's sleep

I was only planning on staying in Cape Town a few days as part of a year trip but thanks to Carnival Court i have had a wonderful 8 months stay. The staff are helpful, friendly and fun nothing is to much for them. Its the best place to stay in town. Thanks, ill be back to see yoiu all again as...
