having visited cape town four times this is by far the best place stayed, even though some were more expensive !!!!!

The people who work at the CTBP were very friendly and helpfull. They gave a lot of information. The room was nice and clean. It is near Longstreet! The only negative comment I have is, that you can't cook at yourself there. They don't have a lot of pots and other kitchen stuf.

Great fun at this hostel... no matter what time or state you rock in at... Very clean rooms, ideal location, thoroughly recommended!

We loved this hostel and would definitely come back. The upgrade to the double with ensuite was a fantastic surprise, especiallya after 57 days on a truck and in a tent!

We stayed in a private. Every day our room was made up and cleaned. Staff is super friendly and the prices for food there are unbeatable. Located right at the foothill of Table Mountain. Would stay there again hands down!

With a few exceptions, reception staff was not helpfull nor interested, especially the blond south african. Talk slower and at least pretend to show more sincere interest in your guests.

I can't fault this hostel. The staff in particular were incredible. Thanks for making my trip even more memorable. I had so much fun. I will definitely be back.

awesome place, the staff were awesome when i managed to lose my passport, doing all they could to help me! really clean, gorgeous rooms, in a nice quiet street and close to everything too. would def stay there again.

One of the best hostels I stayed in in SA. Extremely knowledgeable, helpful staff, loads of fun, close enough to Long Street to be convenient, far enough away to be quiet at night. Pretty close to perfect.

This place was awesome and we had a great 10 days there. It was one of the cheapest places we could find and definitely worth the money. Could use lockers for packs, but they did have safes in the room that you don't have to buy. Two thumbs up.

Staff needed to be more switched on and helpfull whilst mostly pleasant, any enquiry seemed annoying to them. Need to be more service orientated, there by cross selling for you a lot more

Great Hostel, loved the location just short walk to all the sights. Rooms are clean and spacious, with hot showers... would definately stay there again.

Easy to walk to Long Street, lots of restaurants right around it, safer location than long street. Only thing--VERY cold rooms in winter!!! Was freezing at night time--no heat in our double room--was much colder than dorms, could see my breathe lying in bed!! Bring lots of warm clothes!!!

I am at this hostel for 8 weeks and loving every second of it. The staff are like family (Mama Fefe, Papa Andy) and have made the hostel a home away from home. I would one million percent recommend staying here.

The staff at the hostel were excellent and extremely helpful. The place was in a good location, cleaned daily and had brilliant security. I would highly recommend anyone going to Cape Town to stay at this hostel.
