You should really try to improve the standard of the hostel --> everything is broken and in very bad conditions. Though I enjoyed the stay, it's the worst backpackers I saw in Southafrica!!! Sorry!!

This is a great place if you're into the party scene. The night life around the Hostel is strong. If you're trying to get to sleep before 4am, you need to stay some place else. Also, parking on the street is limited and costs a lot.

it seemed a little overpriced but i later came to find all accomidation in cape town city bowl is overpriced. a few things could have been better like some fans and tvs in the rooms. just my 2 cents.

great location!! love long street! wish there was a bar there, but at the sister backpacker (carnival court) there is a great bar! and the staff is great...very helpful!

We stayed here for a week over new year 2006-7. We really enjoyed our stay, met loads of cool people & the staff were the most helpful here than anywhere else we stayed in SA. It is in the centre of things on lively long street which can be noisy, but it just means you have to join in! Would... more We stayed here for a week over new year 2006-7. This hostel is great! Right in the centre of where it happens;-) The people from the hostel are very nice and helpfull.. I really enjoyed my stay here and I can recommend it to people from everywhere around the world! Florien from Holland

Good central location but noisy at times. Very basic but generally clean. Not particularly friendly, but functional. Stayed better places since.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff. Rooms and Bathrooms are clean, but there are cockroaches in the kitchen...that is pretty normal for Cape Town though, still i think they could do more to get rif of them.
