bedbugs, really hot and stuffy and cockroaches in the bathrooms. also we booked a fwe days before and when we arrived they didn't have us booked in, and had given our room to somebody else. very unorganised.

Dont believe that there is a single or double room with a bathroom, which I paid for it. It is only a shower there, no bath, no toilet. The toilet is 2floor lower.May be I should get something of my money back. What do you think?

Great abd cheap place to stay in Capetown. Close to lots of pubs restaurants and clubs but still far enough to be quiet. Great Hostel!!

A home from home. Part of the family as soon as you arrive. The management and team are excellent. Highly recommended. Very social place.

Good price, Staff was unorganized with maintaining records of payment, having change when paying. Close to everything and generally a good value, not a party hostel but pubs are within crawling distance.

Jeffrey is a great host. Lots of enthuasism and plenty of knowledge. Would come back again if was on route.

I spent 4 nights here and it was great, the owner Jeff is very helpful in organizing everything for you and with the tourist info center around the corner everything is easy. The only bad thing was that i was traveling in low season which meant there weren't many other gests but there are plenty... more I spent 4 nights here and it was great, the owner Jeff is very helpful in organizing everything for you and with the tourist info center around the corner everything is easy. On my next visit to cape town ill defiantly stay here again.close

This is a true home from home.A really great hostel,Jeff & Luke welcome everyone & make them feel included.Perfect location to go out safely on Long st if you can move yourself off the balcony(sun ALL day...)

we have stayed in a lot of backpackers and this was by far the worse. It was disgustingly filthy, you didn't want to eat there for fear of catching something.

Quiet, relaxed and friendly hostel - a real home away from home. Would have no hesitation in staying here again. Would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to stay in Cape Town.
