I had a really great stay at Bantry Bay Guesthouse. Ed was so helpful and the house is beautiful. The location is superb and in a very safe location, with easy access to the city. I would definately stay again next time I'm in Cape Town.

The guest house is a 15 minute walk along a lovely coastal road to Clifton's 1st... more If you are looking to stay near the beaches (Clifton and Camp's Bay) -- in a lovely, quiet neighborhood where the locals reside -- and away from all of the chaos of the touristy waterfront, this place is for you. The guest house is a 15 minute walk along a lovely coastal road to Clifton's 1st beach and a 30 minute walk to Camp's Bay's beach, restaurants and bars. There is a bus that is a 5 minute walk down the street in Seapoint that offers a direct, quick, and cheap (under 7 rand) route to the waterfront and all of its social activities. There are also 6 tennis courts two blocks away from the guest house. The house itself is beautifully decorated and very comfortable; I highly recommend it!close

Lovely guesthouse,quiet and perfectly located.Great host will do anything to make your stay perfect.Highly recommended to those who want to relax and explore the Cape!

a Great place to say, very good value for money, better than a backpacker. Easy transport links to town and nearby resturants.beach within wallking distance and quiet safe neighbourhood. great owner, flexible and friendly.

What a lovely Guesthouse, I hope it keeps the relaxed, quiet atmosphere.A home away from home:-) i should have booked for much longer. a week is hardly enough to see al the places of interest,that are so easily accessable from this central, safe and very nice location.

Totally relaxed place in an upmarket area, yet near to everything you need.Very sympathetic and helpful host, an absolute FEEL GOOD house:-).Great value for money too, I will definitely come back!!!

This is a lovely small guesthouse with excellent hosts. Location is great for the beach and is about 1/2 hr walk to Camps Bay.
