I stayed in the lakeside area of Phnom Penh which is more of a backpacker area with lots of guesthouses located on the lakeside, all with decking out into the lake, with a relaxed chilled out vibe. Rooms in this area are very cheap and the area itself is really cute. In the city itself there is lots to do including many temples to visit and markets with great shopping. close
