We were told this was the best place for steak in Buenos Aires and it didn't disappoint. When we arrived on a Monday night the place was full with people standing outside waiting with a glass of wine. We were told there would be a 40 minute wait but we were happy with our wine! The place is traditional, crowded and noisy but this adds to the atmosphere, We had the provolone starter which was recommended and which is huge. One is definitely enough for 2 people. They are famous for their sweetbreads but personally they are not my cup of tea. The rib eye was huge and comes out on a wooden chopping board so you can share. The meat is served with about 8 side dishes including: aubergine, butternut squash, tomatoes in guacamole so there is something for everyone. The bife de lomo and bife de chorizo were also recommended. If you are not a fan of steak they do lots of other things. One of the highlights of my trip to BA.close
