the only problem is to get to room with the window to the street! in that case, its to much noise... but the staff is great, the baths are really good... and the location its perfect!

We had a nice stay at the hostel. Pros: Staff was very helpful in getting us around town, there's always someone cleaning so that it's kept in good shape, they let us leave our luggage in at the hostel as well as use their facilities hours after checking out, location is awesome. I stayed at the Obelisco for nearly 2 weeks. After 1 week I moved out to stay with frineds in Recolleta however after 2 days I moved back to the hostel because I missed the friendly and welcoming atmosphere. A minha estadia neste hsotel foi muito positiva, tendo emconta todos os aspectos. As pessoas sao extremamente simpaticas, o hostal reunia todas as condicoes de higiene, muito divertido, bom ambiente... Nao tenho nenhuma critica a fazer, fiquei satisfeita. They had cancelled our booking for the first night even though we sent the 3-digit credit card pin within 24 hours, so make sure you send this promptly as we had to go to another hostel. Apart from that, we had a double room which was very nice and overall it was a lovely hostel.

Just make sure that your reservations are confirmed. Our first night there, we hadn't confirmed through email which they sent out only the day before, and so we asked them to help us find another hostel to stay in. But we were so glad to be there the next night. Awesome place to stay. I'll...

I was expecting a lot less from the hostels in BA, but this place exceeded expectations. It was clean, the breakfast was decent, it was quiet and the location - although not the nicest part of town - was perfect for getting to all places of interest. Had a mix-up with my booking (my own fault) which the staff were more than happy to help me sort out. Very friendly! Good location, clean and modern. A bit of noise from hostel bar and street but nothing excessive. Would recommend!

The staff were very informative and helpful. I injured my myself and required medical treatment. Luis from reception, provided some fantastic first aid before helping me find the hospital. All in all a fun hostel in a great location.

The hostel is fantastic! The staff were extremely helpful (especially Freddy & Nicolas & Gabby) and the daily activites are good value and loads of fun! The rooms are great and as we are traveling as a couple it is nice to have a double bed!

This is an excellent hostel: clean, nicely decorated, big rooms with kitchen and bathroom close by, friendly staff who organise lots of fun things to do, good central location with a tube station on the same street. One of the best I´ve stayed in.

Nos han ayudado con asuntos en el mismo hostel y nos han asesorado en nuestra estada en Buenos Aires. Creemos que son empleados muy competentes en su tarea laboral. double room room was lovely, staff generally friendly but not overly helpful (except megan who was lovely). location central but very commercial. Hammering noise early on a few mornings was pretty annoying. Breakfast was very basic and the place isn{t ideal for cooking. Party central. excellent staff, lots of good trip to clubs and football matches, lots of computers, fast wifi. Everyone was up for partying, would not hesitate to stay here again and in fact booked up the day I left for when I´m back in Buenos Aires

Not a FIVE star hostel at all, the bathrooms may be nice but getting the right temperature water is an artform...if there IS any hot water! The kitchens have nothing in them, about 1 pan and not even a fridge and it was soo dull when i was there. Plus points, its clean and in a good area, but no...

I had problem with foot injury and the elevator not functioning was really hassle when my room was located in 3rd floor. I had to walk between many stairs and it was really an experience I did not enjoy.

Don´t even think of entering in the "Cabaret" or "Strip Club" beside the hostel. Those will be the most expensive 5 minutes of your trip.

Limpo, seguro, divertido, staff muito atencioso. Só faltam coisas básicas como pano de chao no banheiro e um pouco mais de utencílios na cozinha. Nada de muito grave. Aconselho a todos!
