1Interesting part of the city to stay, regarded well by locals but not as central. The neighborhood is a bit spotty, but very nice is many areas around there. It worked well for me to see more of the city than I might have if I were in Recoleta. Owners Jorge and Valeria were very nice, and she... more Interesting part of the city to stay, regarded well by locals but not as central. The neighborhood is a bit spotty, but very nice is many areas around there. It worked well for me to see more of the city than I might have if I were in Recoleta. Owners Jorge and Valeria were very nice, and she speaks English very well and was always available to answer my many questions about BA. There small private room for $25 would normally be enough for me, but the TV was badly situated and it was hard to get comfortable there. Luckily there was another larger room available for $35, which was well worth the price to me. Not much more expensive than the regular hostels, considering what you get. They have a cat! So if you have allergy probelms, that's a consideration. However, by the end of the week I was feeling better, so I might have just had a cold and perhaps this cat is not especially allergenic.close

1
