I reckon this isn't just one of Europe's most amazing buildings, but one of the world's! It has been the scene of violence in the last year with all the protests and everything, but there haven't been any there in a while. You can do free tours also - there's a sign about it outside. For the best... more

Brilliant museum! The most interesting, informative and moving museum I have ever been to. If you were to only see one thing in Budapest I would highly recommend this.

I think the thing I like most about Budapest is the fact that you can go to the Szechenyi Baths every day. You have the choice of bathing in the outdoor thermal pools or using facilities indoors such as steam rooms, medicinal pools and more.

The Gellert Baths are Budapest's most popular baths. People have compared bathing in them to bathing in a cathedral. I still perferred the Szechenyi Baths. Either way, you won't forget a trip here. Just check out the photo!

Budapest's famous Great Market Hall isn't just a great place for cheap, decent Hungarian food, it's also a great place to see. When you walk in go up the stairs and over to the stalls on the left. There are loads of stalls there to choose from. The view of the market below is great also.

Built by the Turks in 1566, Rudas is the oldest thermal bath in Budapest. Recently renovated, its unique, magic atmosphere remains. If you try only one bath in Budapest, you have to try this one !
