The location is realy great...The staff is very nice but the first impression is realy bad...The building is very old, dirty and looks like it's been under repair for a long time...The hostel itself is a big messy and I couldn't feel confortable there...If u have a kind of hippy style u migth...

One of the best hostels I have stayed in accross Europe. The staff were so friendly, we had no sooner checked in then we were invited down to a local bar where the hostel owner was playing in a blues band! They also are on hand to give out advice on what to see and how to get the best out of...

Awesome Hostel. Great Location and while I wasnt there for the partying, I could easily see some fun times going down there. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and I would definately recommend it to any of my friends.

Staff was awesome, more than willing to help out with anything you need. nice big rooms and kitchen. great common room with stacks of dvds. i highly recommend it.

Fantastic hostel with great staff who really made me feel welcome, they were always willing to help with enquiries about Budapest and travelling to and from.They also arrange nights out in Budapest which is great especially when travelling by yourself. Thanks Cliff, Chris, Kaitie and Farci.

so so helpfull staff they made the trip for us, without them we would of been lost in budapest. So friendly great location in the center of so many things, dont pay for a pub crawl go out with these guys, they'l take you to the best and safest places! love em!! love budapest!

Great, relaxed hostel. You can laze around and watch DVDs if you want or the staff will take you out to some great bars. Good kitchen facilities and nice rooms.

I was very disappointed that there was smoking allowed in the hostel. I arrived with a very bad chest infection, and because of noise complaints from the neighbours, the windows in the hostel were kept closed, with the smoke indoors, it was extremely hard to breathe.

Staff was great and the hostel was really fun. They did my laundry and even cooked dinner one night! Make sure and ask about street scams. Wish I would have.

excellent hostel. Clean, tidy, good facilities, right near the river (just across from citadel and right near the markets). Staff were really friendly and helpful and i wish i had stayed there instead of coming to Prague. It was awesome. Stay There!!!!!!!!

Staying at The Loft was the best hostel experience I have had. The staff was friendly and great, and the rooms were very comfortable. I would recommend this hostel to anyone traveling to Budapest.

Good small hostel. Friendly staff and great location. However, if you arrive and want a good nights sleep and there is a party going on, you aren't likely to as the dorms are right beside the common area.

The Loft Hostel was unquestionably the highlight of our entire trip. Chris, Tom and Katie were outstanding hosts and made us feel right at home, and definitely showed us a good time. Can't wait to come back!
