Exceptional hostel, clean, comfortable, well situated and with great staff who will go out of their way to give you information about Budapest and Hungary... There really can't be many better hostels!

the staff was really wonderful: they were very friendly and helped us with all our questions as good as they could! Although most of the guests were youngsters, we also felt at home as a family with three young kids.

we've had a great time at the homeplus hostel, the people of the hostel are very friendly, helpful and cute! the beds are good even as the showers and the location is great!

Staff were amazingly friendly and helpful.... gave ideas on things to see and do!! Feels just like a home away from home... lovely clean and spacious rooms!! Nice common room to chill and watch movies in!! Great location!!

This hostel really demonstrates the utmost in friendliness. They will gladly help if you need anything and they even helped me figure out when i could catch a train because i slept through my early one. I would definitely stay here again.

The owner and his family were so helpful!! He even stayed there and woke up with us at 5am to make sure we caught our cab to the train station!

Andrew and Adrian are the best hosts ever! They really made us feel at home in their hostel. The name HomePlus is very apropos! Andrew actually picked my friend and I up from the train station after a mixup with getting a driver and such at 11PM. We really appreciate everything!

Be carefull if u are travelling by train to Budapest, there are a lot of smugglers on the trains just waiting for u to sleep and get your wallet.Very good location, near to the Parliment, Metro, Tran stations and supermarkets. Andrew and Tatra (hope I got her name right) are just great people!!! Tatra sat down with me after check in, and explained me about budapest for about 30 mins!!! Nobody else does that!!! The pleple are chill. Decent bar nearby. Great turkish food nearby. The hostel is clean...the only negative,... more Andrew and Tatra (hope I got her name right) are just great people!!! Probably the best hostel Ive stayed at in Europe. Great atmosphere and the coolest, nicest, cutest staff that you'll meet. Sad to leave :(

Staff really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and show you everything there is to do around budapest. the bedrooms are big and spacious and also has a nice chillout´-tv room with free internet. would definately hit again! 100%!

this hostel is great!! you feel right at home and the staff is awesome. Andrew (the owner) will make sure to tell you the best things to do and see in Bdapest so that you can make the most of your trip. Definately going back!!

Had an excellent time at this hostel, Andrassy the manager was a legend and happily spent an hour with me and my mate when we arrived giving us good places to go - highly recommended

Owner was extremely helpful in showing you where to go and obviously loves his city. The place is impeccably clean and has comfortable beds. Make sure you spend at least 2 nights here, there's plenty to see/do.

Really liked this place. They give you the most detailed walk through of the city that I've ever had. It's a really nice fun place. Very clean and well taken care. The owners are really cool and really nice. I would easily stay there again

Really good friendly, family atmosphere- we all really enjoyed our stay here! Free internet access, well-equipped kitchen, nice rooms and bathroom facilities... Would recommend this hostel to any travellers looking for a relaxed atmosphere, helpful hosts and home comforts.

My husband and I got a free upgrade to a very nice apartment. The owners were very friendly and helpful- assisting us in finding a great dinner venue and easy directions to the airport via public transport. A+ stay!

My favourite hostel in central europe. Staying at home plus is a rich and unique experience. The staff were helpful and interested and there was a real homely feeling. I found no faults. Thank you very much.
