Great hostel w/ helpful staff. Location is top-notch, right by the metro and the Danube. Good backpacker spot--free brekkie, free internet, laidback crowd, no one acting stupid. Bathrooms were quite adequate. In general, felt very welcome here and recommend it.

wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der unterbringung. die mitarbeiter waren alle sehr freundlich un zuvorkommend. einige und die chefin können auch sehr gut deutsch und sind uns mit rat und tat zur seite gestanden. danke!

Great hostel! The staff are absolutely awesome, will help you out with anything you need. The location is really good too, placed close to the main train station and within walking distance of all the main sites. The free breakfast is great. I will definitely stay here again if I come back to...

we had a very good experience staying in this hostel. The double room was very spacious. Though I couldn't say the same with our stay in Budapest. The staff it`s really cool and they gave us a lot of tip, the breakfast was good. It`s not really close to the downtown but it has a metro station nearby. Also is close to the Erzebet Bridge It was like home sweet home for us =)

Good location for exploring Budapest on foot. Big rooms, tidy and a nice breakfast, and affordable compared to some of the other hostels I looked at. My only grip...2000ft seems like alot to pay to use the washing machine

The staff is always helpful and tries to give advice what's worth visiting, in which bath you can take a dip, in which restaurant you can eat etc. Nice, clean, international guests and as central as you may wish.

A very comfortable and clean hostel with extremely helpful staff. It felt like a home away from home during my 5 day stay and I can't say enough about the staff's willingness to go out of their way to assist with any and all requests.

A lot of advise and tips from the owner, she´s great as the hostel, the rooms are very big as the lockers and the location is quite centric.and plus you've got free breakfast and internet too

This hostel has everything with an excellent location, very helpful and informative staff and nice big, clean rooms. The only thing missing is a TV for those rainy days, but because we never had any, it wasn't necessary. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone thinking of...

My friend and I had an amazing time at this hostel. I would recommend it to anyone ... its well located, clean, safe and the staff is amazing. They go out of their way to help guests, even calling tourist spots to make sure they were open!

Budapest was incredible. Ginkgo provided the perfect environment (safe, comfortable and sociable) to meet the best of people. The staff were never less than extraordinary and often much more. My only regret is not being able to stay forever. Michael
