Description of Casa de la Musica Hostel
There is no question why to stay in Casa de la musica! It is situated in downtown of Budapest, close to places of interest, party places and cultural monuments. All the building is dedicated for travelers, we have bars, terrace, common areas to chill, restaurant, but we do not have neighbors in the house! So the question is, why NOT to stay in Casa de la musica! I had stories more than I can sell. I had journeys more than I can tell From outside the "casa" is a typical down town house of Budapest, it has a nice old style façade, but from inside it had been renewed from the basement to the roof with a young flavor. We have in the building on the ground floor a coffee place and a bar with terrace. Occasionally we have live bands playing in the basement bar, so you can attend a concert with a beer in your hand just in the house with other fellows. But if you feel like having something different, the neighborhood has one of the busiest nightlife in the city. So you don't need to go too far... The Hostel is situated on the upper floor, on one whole level, and we have here our separated common room as well, with television, movies are shown about the "communist past" of Hungary just to put you in picture how it used to be in our country. Besides this you can enjoy the best Hungarian movies as well. Here is the right place to chat with us or with other guest of the house. With its perfect location - just few steps away from cross roads of transportation from and to everywhere - make your ideal stay to discover Budapest. Just step out the door and you are already in the hub of the city. Your needs always will be treated with special care at our reception area, if you wish to book some tours at our desk, or simply just ask anything from our friendly and well informed stuff. They will be happy to give you advices and all sorts of infos. We offer bright, spacious and clean not smoking mixed 6 / 12 beds dormatories with comfortable and large bunk beds. Besides we have private double or twin bed rooms. All with shared bathrooms (dorms and privates are separated). The hostel provides free use of linen, free self-serving coffee and tea all day long, free internet, and WiFi, free use of lockers -with individual key- free maps and brochures, a flexible check-out time policy and no curfew made us a very attractive option. If you DO NOT want to stay in a flat hostel, but in a building where people are coming together, where travellers are telling stories, where you don't have to walk miles away to have a beer. You found it! Please note that during high season we might not be able to provide female dormitory. We do not accept credit cards, unfortunately.
