Excellent staff and were more than accommodating to us. Provided great tips and were always helpful to answer any questions we have. Excellent too that you get a free bike to use during your stay.

We ended up staying in a HUGE apartment which had everything we could possibly need. Staff were really helpful - even dropping a note in to let us know about a protest and to bring us home made jam! Fantastic!

My wife (travelling 6 months pregnant) and I loved BikeBase. We had a private apartment that was spacious and clean. It had everything you would want, even laundry. Georgie and Imre were wonderful hosts! Having free bike rental included in the price of the room was a great added bonus. I would stay there again if in Budapest and highly recommend it for couples and/or travellers seeking relaxed comfort.close

it's not a conventional hostel, we stayed in a cozy flat. the girl who met us was very kind and could speak very good italian. ideal for couples

Fantastic appartment! 3 separate rooms; new kitchen, bathroom and huge bedroom. Located in old Hungarian building, separate from hostel close to the bike base. Free, quality bikes with booking so no need for public transport (which was close by). Owners absolutely wonderful. We felt so welcomed and Georgie gave us a very thorough introduction to the city eg: places to visit, eat out, etc. Apartment was in dodgey looking building but interior is lovely with own kitchen, bathroom with washing machine. Would definitely recommend this place...

We were really satisfied. The owners were very helpful, the apartment was amazing, we had privacy, comfort ... Really good location, close to everywhere.We would really recommned it for pairs - double private ensuite :o) Viki /Slovakia/

We were very positive surprised over BikeBase hostel. We had lover expectations, but we got a superb accomodation close to the city centre. Georgie and her boyfriend are very nice and always willing to help. We would recommend BikeBase hostel to everyone, who visits Budapest. Cheers, Simon...
