Kálvin Ház is located in the historical downtown of Budapest, just a few steps from the Danube, Freedoms Bridge and the Great Central Market Hall. You also can reach within minutes the pedestrian street 'Váci utca', the National Museum and the Kalvin Square metro stop. The house was built in the 19th century with all its atmosphere. Kálvin Ház Pension offers on 3 floors, 28 extraordinary large, individually, with turn of the century furniture arranged rooms, all fitted with completely restored , modern private bathrooms, telephone and satellite TV set, all these for very moderate prices. At the reception,the safe is at our guests disposal. We arrange theatre tickets, taxi call, rent-a-car, airport transfer, restaurant booking and a lot more. We offer photo copy and fax service, also laundry service is available. In the morning you will find a full and varied breakfast buffet, during day we serve coffee, tea and refreshments. Parking is possible on the street in front of the hotel or in one of the 3 parking houses nearby.

Massive rooms! Free 24 hour high speed intenet access. Fantastic locaton, close to some really cool bars and the metro. Good breakfast as well. On a unrelated point, jet2.com got me a flight for £44 return from manchester and the airport bus is good value - they will drop you off at... more Massive rooms! This was a nice hotel with very large rooms. The staff were helpful and the breakfast very nice. I would recommend Kalvin House to friends.

Overall, fantastic. Clean, comfortable, great location near Raday for trendy restaurants, etc. Reasonable prices make this place a must stay in Budapest.

Really liked this place. Although a bit more expensive that most hostels this place was worth the extra money as it was more of a hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and would do anything for you (book taxis, tickets, call people etc.) and the location was great - walking distance to the...

just an excellent place to stay at. the staff could not do enough for me. hostel was old world, full of character and charm and very,very CLEAN!!! great breakfast, everyone speaks english, and central location. great shops and pubs in the area. worth every cent . Highly recommed to all...
