The rooms are in a historic apartment building, and while none of the furnishings were new, it was all clean and comfortable. We had originally booked 2 standard rooms but when we got there, the owner showed us that the rooms were on different floors. Her flats have one standard and one deluxe... more

Right behind parliament,a bit of a walk to the centre. Staff was friendly enough, but the place was a total dive. The fridge was disgusting, random stains/smells coming from the freezer. The room was filthy, the stove didn't work, thankfully a friend of ours had an apartment in Budapest at the... more

We stayed here for four nights (at the end of 3 weeks in Romania/Hungary) in one of the guesthouse rooms which cost a little more but have a small kitchen and more privacy. The owners speak at least Hungarian, English, French, and German so they are very helpful in showing you a map and... more

We couldn't do our own laundry, and we had to pay way to much if we did.

Amazingly located - a surprise awaits you as you emerge from the very close-by metro station - and very clean. The owner is a delightful multilingual lady who gave us good tips on the neighborhood. I'll stay here whenever I'm in Budapest.

The best of Garibaldi Guesthouse are their owners, who are very friendly. It is a very familiar guesthouse where you can feel as at home. All the things are easy with Enna (the owner), so it is practically imposible that you have any problems there. Maybe the rooms are a little small but you can... more

The woman that runs this place is very sweet. She is converting more space into clean, charming hostels for groups, couples and families. It is just off the busy streets, on the metro so it was easy to get to, which made it perfect for a good night's sleep.

Excellent location. Ena (the landlady) very nice & helpful. Very clean. Only one drawback for me & that was that our apparment did not have a shower - it was a hose attached to the bath - no shower curtain. Other than that - I would highly recommend this guesthouse!
