During checkout it turned out that the guesthouse had some private space and we had been parking in a public space which was more expensive. Please clearly inform guests arriving by car which parking is actually yours for the price you display.close

I liked staying, Apartment for myself with all the facilitieswas like home away from home, since I spent the day during the Christmas, almost everything was closed, otherwise Location is quite good, was bit noisy in the night.

Location was good as the metro entrance was 20 meters away - a couple of minutes to Deak Ferenc square. There is a good supermarket 100 meters away. Would stay again, but would try to get a room facing elsewhere.close

It is somewhat close to the city centre, yet beware of bugs... we had moths in out bathroom and cockroaches all over our room... so if you like that thought, you will enjoy the extra facilities such as the kitchen.

very clean private apartments. only a metro stop away from the main station. the only drawback is that the apartment is on a side street. but this was by far the best "hostel" we stayed at in the last 3 weeks (different cities)

Looks creepy on the outside, but the room was beautiful and it is right next to the metro station. An added bonus is that instead of a 24 hour reception you get a set of keys so it almost feels like it is your own place in town.

The place was under construction while I was there so that may reflect in my rating to an extent. Acceptable overall and certainly worth it for the price - just not out of this world.

We had booked a double bed room, paid for that but we receive two twins pushed together. The first impression was not very good but once inside it looked a lot nicer. Clean, warm, independent and well located it is good value for money.

We stayed in the appartment belonging to the guesthouse - and it was wonderful! I will definately book to stay there again as three nights isnot long enough in Budapest! The lifts to and from the airport were excellent and good value - the whole experience was great. Thank you!

The room was very romantic (old and well maintained furniture, huge windows, nice bath), and the location is just great if you do not get scared by a 15-20 min. walk. The subway station is around the corner, but you can walk to all the "hot spots." During our 3 day stay we did not use public transportation at all. The longest walk, to Buda castle, took about 40 minutes, but it was absolutely enjoyable. There are many great restaurants and beer bars (Sorozo) in the area -a lot less expensive than, say, those in the fashinable shopping district (Vaci utca area). To sum it all up, it was worth every penny! close

We didn't stay in the actual hostel due to some problems with our room but were given an apartment instead. It was amazing and at no extra cost. Thankyou Agape :)

The property looked a little scarey from the street, but once inside, all was well. The room with private bath was spacious, clean, and quiet. And, even though we arrived 2 hours late due to the airlines, the office remained open for us.

Cleanliness: the cleaning lady seems to have missed out my room. During my weeks' stay it was never cleaned and I had to ask for clean towels. For the rest Iliked the guesthouse very much, especially that there was a kitchen with it.

I stupidly left my jacket in the wardrobe and despite phoning and emailing they clearly did not even bother to look for it but told me it was not there. On returning to Budapest a week later I asked again, in person, and was again told it had not turned up. Later that day when we went to pick our bags up the jacket was hanging in reception. If I hadn't noticed it there I seriously doubt the receptionist would have remembered to tell me it had been found. Aside from that, the location and rooms are ok, though they seem beset by problems with the water pipes and supply. During our stay of a total of four nights we stayed in three different rooms, one of which was half an hour walk away from the main building.close

Located on one of the main road in the city center. If you get a room facing this road, it's REALLY noisy. The staff is incompetent in managing it's booking system. Overall I should say I will NEVER stay in this hostel again.

Very impressed with this place. Rooms are homely, spotless and well equipped with a fridge and ensuite. Room 8 has a glamorous balcony overlooking the street but it is noisy as a result. Location is good next to metro, closed for renovation in August though. Budapest rocks.

Amazing location and the rooms were almost like a hotel. Try to get a room facing the courtyard though because the square is very loud.

The stay was overall very good with good facilities and big rooms. However, the mattress springs in the bed were gone so it was quite uncomfy. Also, the shower was not great as there was no shower head hook (so you had to hold it) and the bath mat was mouldy making the room smell damp and rotten.
