Good breakfast and friendly staff. Bathroom (we had pivate one) is clean but pretty small, the toilet is a bit squishy. Nice enough place to stay.

A very nice owner and a perfect place for discovering the heart of Brussels. Metro is only 100 metres away. Quite a cosy stay with good breakfast. Clean toilets ensuite. Very recommendable!

The hotel is very good indeed, a bit scare, at first sight, because it's in a small road, but really like at last, the room is clean, stuffs are friendly (only the first day that i could not catch any English speaker in the hotel, but she's nice anyway). Oh and the room's door cannot lock...

Its an ideal place for couples or groups travelling, if you are travelling on your own think of it as a hotel more than a hostel/backpackers. The location is great very close to a main nice square and the subway.

very good hostle, I stayed in a single room for two nights. It is pretty Clean and handy. Also Edward is a really nice and friendly guy at the hostel, very helpful imformation about the city and trips.

Good location, reasonable breakfast. Only complaint being the flush on the toilet which broke in the middle of the night!! Watch it if you're in the room on the top floor - I've noticed other residents have had the same problem from that room.

Very cute hotel situated close to the St Catherine Metro station (but within walking distance of the city centre). The receptionist who checked us in was very helpful in giving us some local info, though could only speak French, the rest of the staff (and the breakfast) were amazing too.

Very clean and I was pleased that the staff offered maps and other sightseeing aids. Next time I come to Brussels I would definitely like to stay here. No complaints at all.

Free cable tv! Very close to everything you'll need The guy at reception was very helpful with any and everything and spoke fluent english. Would certainly reccommend!

This is not a hostel. This is a wonderfully furnished condo. I could not believe how nice this place was. It was right downtown, close to everything you would want to see in Brussels. this was the best place we stayed on our journey. Loved it. Oh yeah and flat screen TV in the room with cable, wow.

Not bad. Free breakfast. And there was a sink and mirror in our room--which was great. But the bathroom was two flights of stairs down and that was rather inconvenient.

Edward is a very friendly person,he made you feel welcomed and homely.This is close to Metro and pretty central,good location.The breakfast were very good.Thank you Edward-I'll be back if I ever come again.

This hostel is in a central location. It's very close to the metro and a short walk to the Grand Place. It was clean and quiet. The breakfast was great. The owner was incredibly helpful even though we showed up late. He answered all our questions about Brussels. We enjoyed our stay!

We were given a beautiful two-storey attic room with views of the city and our own private bathroom, kitchen and living room. For the first day we thought maybe we were in the wrong hotel because it was just so nice! Probably the best place we've ever stayed, and all for less than 30 euros a night!

Room had heaps of space and the bathroom was brand new. In the lower part of town where most of the action is. Visit Le Corbeau if you want to get a yard glass of beer for 10 euros.

We stayed here for 2 nights and I would def recommend Residence Les Ecrins to everyone. Rooms are clean and comfy and it's in a great location (a quiet street but very close to pubs & restuarants and about a 10 minute walk to the Grande Palace) and the staff were really nice and really helpful!

The hotel was great. The owner, Ed made our trip. He was full of great information and was always available for extra help and cheap beers... great place to stay if you want a relaxing and enjoyable time in Brussels
