The owner, Karel is a genuinly nice man and offer more of a Bed & Breakfast than a hostel. I really want to recommend this place.

I had a really nice time here, it was a lovely place to stay. The only downside was the location: I had to get a tram then a bus to the European Parliament where I was staying, but that hasn't put me off - I've just booked another 5 nights here!

Besides being a bit of a walk from the main part of the city, I loved this hostel. The guy who owns it is very helpful and it's just a nice, friendly atmosphere.

The area was safe and relaxing! the room and toilet were clean! The people are also friendly. "Homy" ambiance. Not that far away from the city center too (around 25mins by tram). Karel was very friendly! Would definitely stay here again!

Great guy that runs the place. Treats you as a real guest. It's like he is welcoming you into his home. Gives you maps on your arrival and has good knowledge. Very relaxed place. Good if you want to chill out.

Pretty nice place, like if you were in your home, I liked it, the only disadvantage is that the place is not in th touristic places so you have to take the railway, but it's ok, not so far, I think 10 minutes. I'd stay there again

It was a great place to stay, with a great man running it. You can walk to city center if you're willing to walk a good ways, otherwise public transit is close.

I stayed here mostly because the hostels in Brussels were all booked up and this place was the cheapest available. The place was very nice though and the owner is very friendly, enthusiastic and helpful. If I make it Brussels another time and my budget isn't as small, I'd happily stay there again.
