“ Possibly the most beautiful city i've ever visited, easy as well everything is compact and when you drive into the city straight into the underground parking which is directly below the city centre. There wasn't a building I saw which I wouldn't want to live in.

“ The historic city is beautiful, snowed whilst we were there which was disapointing. The food is not very good and the Bruges waiters are some of the rudes people in the world. The locals however are friendly and recommended some restaurants however it is very expensive. Definately wouldn't go back.

“ The city was compact and quaint with the most amazing styles of buildings all steeped in history. The cobbled streets were hard on the feet but well worth the trek especially as most large transport is banned.

Nordlicht says: “ A really cute city offering quite some historical sights to visit. Very easy to get around, charming little streets, but clearly a tourist place... Not much to do at night. Good for a weekend-trip, wouldn´t recommend a much longer stay.

colm says: “ Bruges is Belgium's number one city with tourists and there's a reason for that. It's perfect for couples but there's a surprisingly good nightlife there also. You just need to know where to go!

Donal says: “ A photographer's dream, the city is beautiful to put it mildly, but as a friend of mine once put it: "what can you buy here, if you don't want chocolate or lace?" LOL! Just about sums up how touristy it is... Even in the depths of winter there are tourists, but in my view winter or early… more
