Great place to stay. For some reason the side door entrance was left open for most of the day defeating the purpose of a key card entry in the front. Other than that very cool.

El personal del hostel es bastante antipático. No nos ayudaron en ningún problema que nos surgió. Las camas incomodísimas, se clavavan todos los hierros en la espalda, y había una gotera en la habitación. La higiene de los baños deja mucho que desear, huelen fatal.

Fine if you just need a bed for the night, but is NOT five minutes walk from town centre - more like 15-20. Staff were for the most part unhelpful and bordering on rude (when we asked where we could hire a bike from as they had run out we were told to look at the map!). You get given a free bruges card on check in which saves you money on tourist attractions and a deadly map with cheap places to eat etc on it, massive bowl o spaghetti for €3.

the rooms are ugly, very dark.. the shower is bad... the walls are so thin that you can really hear everything. the common bathroom (tydiness) is a bit bad, no toilet paper...

This place needs some serious work. The room was very dirty, and the shower/bathroom was rediculous. There was no shower door!! Literally the water just shot out into the rest of the bathroom. The only thing saving this hostel is the funky bar next door. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

We couldn't check out either because there was no staff at the receiption that moring. We waited for almost one hour and we ended up leaving our keys to a strange guy standing outside the hostel. Our journey was delayed because of this. In addition, the hostel isn't that near to the central market square as claimed. The rest of our stay were ok. The bar was lovely and the free bear was nice.close

The bar/restaurant is a real gem. That's where the action is. Nice job with that. We stayed in one of your hotel rooms. We could only find one outlet that was by the front door above the light switch. Not convenient. Breakfast was welcome as not everywhere includes it these days. I had to pay for a double to get a single. A few singles would be a good idea as there are many single travellers who do not want to share. With the post war baby boomers heading into retirement and travelling there will be an increased demand for private singles in the future. It would be nice to see a few more singles. The hotel section had been renovated not that many vears ago but with dark navy carpet, curtains, a feature wall and decorative feature combined with smokey coloured walls and dull lighting a large room was very dingy. Even with the bed lamps reading was very difficult. The shower was badly blocked and the water was on a push button system which took forever to warm at all and consequently turned the blocked shower into a mini swimming pool before it was possible to shower.close

The hostel was good, specially the bar -really excellent- but the cleanliness was "poor", cause in the 4 days of my stay (double private room with bath), the bathroom shared between 5 rooms, wasn`t cleaned up any day.
