The area where breakfast is served is also a smoky bar at other times so still smells in the morning, not very nice. The showers werent the best either but apart from this it was well organised.

Snuffel was such an awesome hostel, I could not have asked for more. Everyone that worked there was super nice and engaging and willing to give you tips on anything. The bar downstairs was awesome and served the cheapest drink in town, 1.10 euro for a small glass at happy hour. It was super easy to meet people in the bar hangout or kitchen area. Also I really appreciated being able to rent bikes from the hostel for 6 euro/day, very cheap and they give you a map with different routes to take i.e. to the coast (which is a beautiful ride) or castle hunting or to other near towns. I had an amazing experience in Brugge because of Snuffel. The only thing that is a hassle is showering, you have to go through a maze to get to them, but they are clean, showers with good water pressure so I can't complain much. Snuffel was also very clean and had a warm and friendly atmosphere.close

Very uncomfortable showers (you have to keep pulling a chain so the water can keep running and it is mixed (male+female) with no doors on each shower just curtains) but I only stayed one night, so it wasn't so bad. Everything else was really nice apart from the very noise wooden floor.

that was a good one.you have your own locker for free and the breakfast is free too and u can have as much as u want. definately wouldstay there again.

I got eaten alive by mosquitoes here. It's pretty annoying that you have to walk through the bar to get to the showers. But otherwise it was all good.

Good hostel in good location. People were friendly and beer was good.Only downside was that had room that backed onto courtyard which meant it was very noisy at night if window open and very, very hot if window closed. Nice staff. Location is not central and quite out of the center of town but only takes 10 - 15 min walk. Stairs are strange and hard to climb esp with huge luggage. Showers have to go down and out but there is also a shower in the room with curtains only... One of the cheapest beers in town!

we got eaten alive by mosquitos (or at least we hope) so bring your off! the showers were outside of all the rooms, downstairs in a courtyard so that was no fun....the bar has a good happy hour and breakfast. staff was nice.

Best hostel in bruges. The staff is very helpful and cool. get the official 6th best beer in the world for 4 euro or get the maes for 1.60 euro. happy hour is euro beers from 9 to 10. CHEAPEST BEERS IN TOWN. i loved this hostel. Must go if in bruges.

This place wasn't all that bad... Good Happy hour with 1 euro beer... however if you are above the courtyard and you want your window open you might have a problem sleeping... the people in the downstairs are VERY loud until VERY late... Great for backpackers. It's very near to the centre of the town and the pub is just perfect to have fun, rest and try the belgian beer. It's also very good to have the posibility of using the kitchen and the breakfast included in the price. The staff was helpful and very friendly . Moreover you... more Great for backpackers. Its really close to down town, plus it has a bus stop right in front to take you to the train station, and if you like walking its only a 20 minute walk. It has the cheapest beer in town, and locals know it, so you'll always find a good crowd in the bar at night. Plus they do a free walking tour...

great staff, great bar. not very clean, but hey it's a backpacker's hostel. great location, but i suppose bruges is small enough that most locations are excellent. the reception has lots of information about events, live music for example, and lots of tours. fun time, overall; would recommend.

Great hostel with its own bar for lots of fun. Beds really comfortable, although the rooms are arranged in a strange way! Showers are a long way away from the dorm rooms - have to go through the bar and kitchen to get to them. I had a great time here, and would definitely come back. Cheap beers...

really liked this hostel..great atmoshere and nice clean rooms..staff were good and the bar has a good atmosphere..it's only downfall is that the showers are outside..which means you have to walk through the bar and kitchen after your shower..i wouldn't let this put u off because it is a great...
