Charlie you are a legend! Nothing was a trouble for you and your warm smile and cheeky sense of humour made me not want to leave! Staff definitely went the extra km to make me feel welcome and safe. Two thumbs up and I would come back to Bruge just to stay in that hostel again! Cheers Charlie!

Had a incredible night there, including an awesome beer tasting for a very affordable price...go up with my bags to second floor was a little bit annoying though...strange old stairs :P Really good location, 10min walking from the train station.

I rent a double room with an own bathroom for 70euro on the whole and got a shabby old room where it smelled like fungus and it looked really unclean; the sheets seamed not to be fresh and clean and the pillow covers were missing at all! There was no door at the bathroom entry and just a rusty shower without any hot water, which meant: no shower the next morning (even no hot water in the common bathrooms)! the breakfast was okay for a hostel but not for the price we paid. the owner has been absent during our visit so we couldn´t get our money back. i can just recommend to look somewhere else for a double room...close

The staff were very friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was great and the mainroom was quite nice. Cold shower,tacky rooms and room not ready at 4pm were negative points.

Great rooms, informative and friendly staff. Location isnt bad at all despite what some say. Rooms are clean, there is hot water, great beer, and rooms that lock - thats all you should need!!! I will stay here again.

The belfly tower was closed during my stay which was bummer but definitely stay here, just hold your nose when you walk in. Mathias was a great host, real funny guy.close

solid location and a friendly staff. My only gripe was the bathrooms. In our corner we had two shower stalls for four rooms of 4+ and one wasn't working. The shower was also cold most of the time. they should fix the toilets and shower rooms as soon as possible~ bar is fun but too noisy in midnight made me can't sleep~

Really nice hostel right in the center of town. The double room we go was spacious and clean with it's own bathroom. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We stayed in dorm room A and the showers were quite terrible. They didn't stay a consistent temperature and were always backing up. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

Only had one night in town, but this was an awesome night. Great location and a lot of fun at the hostel including cheap, Belgian beers for about half the price you'll find them anywhere else in town. As long as you don't need pampering, this place is highly recommended. Kai will take care of...

I stayed in this hostel alone and still felt very safe. The common room is nice and comfy and all sites and the train station are within walking distance. I was having some money troubles at the time also and they were totally cool about it.

Shower didn't work well and was cold all the time we spent there. Bathrooms not as clean as the other hostels I stayed in Europe. The rest was very nice. Very well situated, staff very attentious and polite and the bartender is a character, very friendly.

Cool hostel, great common area to hang out in. Room was comfortable but I dont actually think anyone ever came in to clean it in the 4 nights I was there. Nevertheless I would def. stay there again, realy comfortable environment

The room was so little than I almost couldn´t open my suitcase. They don´t have locker´s or anything like it. Is not very clean and neither is secure. But it´s OK.

Great Location, very nice room with view over the rooftops, lovely city. Never had such a good bed in a youth hostel. Only the pillows were a bit poor, but thats a small thing.

This hostel was great it was like being in a big home. It was really cozy and the staff is nice. My only complain would be the location. It's not near any of the fun Dublin area's there are a few cool beaches you can take the dart to but other then that for partying i would stay nearer to...

The room had the ceiling falling in. One of the blankets was wet. We were moved to a different room the next night but everything was very makeshift. staff was great! super friendly and helped us get around. only problem was bathroom door was broken and bathroom itself was not very clean/sanitary. would recommend for first timers in town though
