the rooms are too small for 4 people. That's the same for the bathroom were the system of water wasn't made in a good quality. The hostel have to leave more place for the people to be satisfied.

A hostel based on a range of wooden sculptures scattered arouns. Not everyones choice. Clean and reasonably friendly. Basic breakfast. Our issues were the "Onsuite" which did nit include a toilet - down staits with a light on a sensor which cut off after about 5 seconds. Not...

The hostel was great and has a parking lot right beside it, bus people damaged our rental car while trying to break into it so I can't say I recommend you to park there.

I wouldn't recommend this place for 3 reasons. 1 It's a long long walk (about 30-40 min) from the center. 2 There was no hot water during our stay. 3 The staff is not very polite. I think that for the same money you can find better than this. But if all these are not important to you other than...

We arrived at 9pm and our room had not been cleaned from the previous stay. There was food in the refridgerator and hair and dust everywhere. We also had to wait 2 hours before we could get sheets because they had run out of clean ones. Other than that, the staff was friendly and helpful and we...

It was extremely clean, very nice rooms with lockers , and a bar across the street. Its not close to downtown Burges, but you can take a longer walk into town and the bus stop is close to the hostel.

Very clean and accomodating. Excellent and helpful staff. Only having 1 key for the rooms is a little strange/limiting. A bit outside the city but nice and has free parking.

the woman who checked me in wouldn't give me a key. it's a walk to the center of the city. there is nothing really going on there. I don't like that my room had to be unlocked all the time because she wouldn't give me a key. It was really clean though

it's ok. nice if small rooms and about a ten, fifteen minute walk from town centre. it's a little unorganised but it has the basics and was good enough. the showers were a bit anoying as they were those ones where you just press the button and can't control the temp.

Great value for your money!! It's clean and conveniently reached especially by car with ample parking. There's a terrific bistro close by. I hope to get a group together and visit Bruges by bike. Arthostel is the perfect location for us.

Aside from the fact that it is wicked far away (25 minute walk until you hit the main center), they completely screwed us over. The first night, my friend and I got put into a private double room with our own shower. Not what we signed up for but very nice. However, we were told the next morning that we would have to change rooms. We left our bags with the friendly owner (but not so good English) and left for the day. We didn't come back until midnight, because the hostel is so far away, and we arrive to an empty reception desk. No people, no note, no sign of where we will be sleeping, how to get there, nor where our bags are. We end up ringing the doorbell to get the intercom and are told to go up to the top floor. Through a door marked "Privaat," a woman in her PJ's comes out and ushers us into her private apartment, then up more stairs to a CRAWL SPACE with two beds and our two bags. We basically slept in this person's attic. When we woke up and went downstairs, we walked passed her two young children. Shadiest experience ever! Bruges is wonderful, we loved everything else about it, but be wary about this place...close
