Broome - there is nothing like a camel ride at sunset on Cable beach! If your timing is right you might get to watch the infamous "stairway to the moon" on Cable Beach! Karrajini and Kalbarri national parks - brilliant for hiking. Monkey Mia - watch the dolphins come in for an early morning feed. Coral Bay on the Ningaloo Reef is just fantastic(better than the Great Barrier Reef!) - plenty of activities here including diving with Manta Rays, snorkeling and sea kayaking to name but a few activities... W.A is so often over looked by backpackers visiting Australia. This IS the real Australia and is an absolute must!close

Everyone in Broome is so chilled out, no one moves very fast and NOONE seems to be stressed. We stayed in the awesome Bali Hai Resort . We were up everymorning for the Sunrise and on the beach every evening for sunset. We were saw the Staircase to the moon, this is where you have a full moon reflecting off the exposed mudflats at Roebuck Bay at extremely low tides, to create a beautiful optical illusion of a staircase reaching to the moon. We took a hovercraft out to the mudflats to see it. Broome is a long way from Sydney or Mlebourne and expensive to get to (5 hours planeride from Sydney) but its is sooo worth it. I hope to get back there again some time soon.close

Kimberly Klub YHA 93%
No hand-soap in the bathroom and horrible scented toilet paper but ants are biggest problem especially in kitchen. Otherwise excellent.

Beaches of Broome 81%
Although this is an amazing resrt, very well kept. The staff were all very hostile and seemed to take you to the back of the line if there was a bloke around. The resort was lovely though just need a few customer care pointers and a few smiles would'nt go a miss.

2This was a beautiful place to stay. Clean rooms, very new. Exellent kitchen. Pool area was beautiful. Not your regular backpackers. More like a hotel. We we there in the low season so not much atmosphere, but a really relaxing place to stay. Air conditioning was good.
