the front desk old man was way too rude..the basement has tv room n net facility which were alright. rooms are old n barely furnished. cleaning staff was hospitable. just so that ppl know, everett is blue n orange line plus bus ride away, so thats 5 dollar plus the rent..it was ok.

It's a bit of a trek to get into Boston but it's a good way to see the city and master the metro. I enjoyed the hostel, but wish they had lockers or lockable drawers in the rooms.

Very clean; small dorms, a bit out of the way but with easy access to bus routes 104 and 109 to orange line of the subway; good value and I would certainly stay there again.

Place is a long way from the city, which will cost you $3.50 to and from, so that is $7 each time you leave the hostel. Also when someone shifts even an inch while they are sleeping it sounds like there is an earthquake in the room, beds are way too loud.

The prescott is a good advice on visit boston. Unfortunly you need to use the bus to reach a subway. But this is all about the bad news about this hostel. All other things like cleanliness and friendliness of the staff are very well.

Although there was a hard-working young lady at the desk the morning we were leaving, no one else was particularly useful. Most of the time there was no one at the front desk, so we had to wait in order to check-in. The place was really dumpy. Every chair was stained, our room reaked of air freshener, and the sheets were badly stained. You have to take a bus, and then two subways to get downtown.close

My only issue with Prescott was lockers. On the website it stated that there were lockers to lock your stuff up but when I got there there were only two working lockers available, and shabby ones at that. Otherwise the location and price were great and the staff were very cordial. I would...

For the price it's quite ok. However the location isn't the best spot for people who like just walking in the city center. Nevertheless the bus and subway connection you have to take is pretty decent.

The place was nice and clean. It could use some serious renovation (one room didn't even have a drain in the shower, just a hole!), but for the price, I would definitely reccommend it and stay here again.
