“ My friend and I came for St Patrick's Day Weekend and it was a blast. The staff were great and the rooms were very clean. The only problem was that it wasn't really close to downtown but the public transit was very easy to get used to and was an expierence in itself. ”

“ it wasn't so much a backpackers hostel as it was a long term hostel...was okay but wouldn't recommend it as somewhere backpackers would want to stay. Poor kitchen facilities and the beds were uncomfy. ”

“ Formerly a nice hotel, today's Prescott is more of a run-down hostel that dreams of its former glory. But 25 bucks a night is more than reasonable and the location is great. Very easy to get to the center of Boston. Bring your own silverware though, they don't have any. ”

“ The Hostel is really good value for money. We stayed in the private double bed room with its own onsuit bathroom and were perfectly comfortable. The location isn't smack in the middle of town, but it doesn't take that long to get to. Do make sure however that you time your bus times correctly as... more ”

“ I liked the lay out of the hostel - I think there is so much potential with the building and the basement... if the money and effort was put into it. The rooms were comfy with great showers. The other one downfall was the cat - why do hostels insist on having cats as pets. I've a phobia of... ”

If you're travelling by yourself you don't really want to stay here as the only company I had were three 40+ men who were on laptops all the time. “ Worst hostel I've ever stayed in. The only nice memeber of staff was the cleaning lady. No one else would give you the time of day. Not in boston but 40 mins outside downtown I would never recommend this this its horrible. ”

“ This hostel was somewhat depressing. The staff was dreary, the beds were those plastic cushion uncomfortable mess, and there was no activities/character as far as I could tell. I'm sure this was a more lively hostel years ago, but has since quickly went downhill. ”
