Lack of kitchen facilities was a little annoying, and the social area seemed a little "thrown together" and lacked any character, but I guess it was good for a college dorm. Seemed quite safe and the staff were friendly.

Overall, a great experience. My first time in a hostel. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. They weren't the best with directions. I felt very safe there. It's in a good neighborhood, and there are lots of people going to Sox games...

This is a dormitory from Boston University. Bunk beds, showers, furniture all reflect it so. Good location: Less than 5 minute walk to Fenway Park, restaurants, bars, and subway. Staff was very helpful and friendly - they all work for HI not the college, so they know what hosteling is all... more This is a dormitory from Boston University. A very good place to saty the area is very safe the people working a friendly and helpful. If you are going to be hitting up Fenway Park for some baseball games definitly the place to stay.

it is closed with subway station.there are ping pong table, billiard table and big screen TV. but there isn't any equipment for cook only microwave and small refrigerator. I stayed in large room with three people including me.

This is normally a student dorm. Good thing: 3 beds a dorm, bad thing: no tours like other HI's and the 'hostel' is closed for most of the year.

The rooms were very nice and spacious. The hostel was clean and big. A little run down though, but not as much it mattered. They didn't have a kitchen, just microwaves and refrigerators. But the common area was nice with a big TV and a pool table, computers etc.

My sheets hadn't been changed when I arrived. Finally, the staff at the check-in told me that I had to do it my self, that it wasn't their job... Is it mine ?

The location, just next to Fenway Park, is perfect and very simple to get there by car or public transportation. Enjoyed my stay and would certainly consider returning next summer.

We never had to show any sort of identification to get to our packs from the "safe room", which makes us question the "safety" of said room.

The hostel was in an excellent location, very close to the commuter rail and t stations. Rooms were very basic but clean and having your own bathroom in your dorm was loads better than sharing a communal bathroom, overall you get what you pay for and for the price this was an excellent hostel and we will be stay there again!close

I loved that I had a comfortable single bed with an actual good pillow and a private bathroom! I didn't have a waste basket in the room, but used a plastic bag and was told that they ran out. The vending machines were out of order. The microwave and fridges were crowded and quite dirty. Other...

Good location, however quite tricky to find it. Good experience chating with the guys in the room, but the Korean one snored too loud and I didn't sleep well. Don't forget to bring ear plugs.

Nothing fancy, just your standard college dorm. But the location is good, the staff is nice, and we felt pretty safe and secure. Having our own bathroom was pretty nice as well. Great value for those wanting to visit Boston and stay for cheap!

The Cafe should continue to open for business for summer. 17July happens to be the last day of business for the cafe. The conditions of the dormitory needs improvement. I need to slam the door in order for it to close properly.

Good location, 2 minutes from Kenmore T stop. Next to a lot of places to eat.Clean enough. Internet access for 2 $. Big room ensuite.Hot water. Breakfast not included. I would stay here again.

It was published that it has internet service, so I chose it, but they were closing the space for using internet after 11pm which is the time that I was there and wanted to use it.
