I would not recommend it to a friend of mine, but if there is nowhere else to stay it might be OK. Do not have high expectations concerning it... It is far away from downtown and sights.

Nice place for stay for a few nights. Around the corner very good Allston Café for breakfast. Private rooms quite expensive considering there's no bathroom or breakfast included, but this is the case maybe in whole Boston. Staff very helpful and nice.

I read the negative feedback on the website and didn't listen! I really regret this hostel. This is an old house turned into a hostel. I room smelled like twenty years of stale cigarette smoke, the sheets smelled. It was far from town, but I didn't care about that. The staff seemed disgusted with... more

It is on the quiet residential street though the place is far from the center of a city. There was no elevator, so, it was very hard to carry up luggage. The hostel is very lovely and cute.

When I book a hostel I do not expect first-class accommodation, but this place is very poor. No soap and hand towels in the bathrooms, carpets have not been cleaned for ages. Staff cleaning the bedrooms did not even knock at the door before entering; dirty fridge. Too expensive as nothing except...

located in an area with a lot of bars, but it's quite far away from central boston. all in all it's ok if you won't expect too much - especially any social life at the hostel.
