Heidi, the owner, is friendly and had many tips to make every aspect of our trip wonderful!!! We can't wait to come back and bring our family to stay here next time and enjoy the Carruth House.

So far in our travels throughout the U.S Carruth House has been our favourite stay. A fantastic house in a beautiful suburb, the owner Heidi consistantly goes above and beyond the call of duty to make sure your stay is an enjoyable one. The breakfast were sensational. Thanks Heidi!

The house and the hostess were charming! Loved the homey feeling and really appreciated the hardwork that has gone into restoring the house. Definitely staying there again next time I visit Boston! It was cozy AND clean! :0)

a lovely quiet B&B - a little trip out of town but heidi is a lovely host and the rooms and the breakfast are fab - not a fun hostel but I give it 110%

Very nice place to stay! Spacious rooms and very versatile and good breakfast! Some parts of the house are under renovation, however, this does not influence the comfort or cleanliness. It's not in the centre of Boston: 10min walk to subway + 15min to downtown. We'd recommend staying there.

We traveled the USA for 6 weeks and Curruth House was by far our favourite place! The owner Heidi makes a fantastic breakfast every morning and coffee and juice is available all day. It became like our home away from home! Will definitely return there next time we are in Boston...

WOW! it's a beautiful hostel, we really wish we could have stayed longer. If you want a great place to stay with a lot of character, the Carruth house is for you! :)

Once the nearby station of the T (metro) is finished, it will take only tree minutes walking to the station to catch the T for a good 10 minutes journey to downtown Boston. Heidi is giving good information about visiting Boston and is always in for a chat. Nice and warm place to stay !

an 15min train ride from the centre, a fantastic home, where every effort has been made to make you comfortable - beautiful sheets and towels, delicious breakfast, the highest bed i have ever slept on. The house is undergoing some renovation. A great place to stay.

We had at this place the best time, during our trip. Heidi is a nice women. She takes care of you, especially for the breakfast- it´s delicious. The house is lovely and you can really relax at this place. When you are there, you want to stay for a long time.

The T is about 4 blocks from the house so if you have problems walking this might be hard but otherwist the walk is pleasent. The neighborhood is very safe and beautiful

If you are looking for a quite and nice place to stay a few minutes in subway from downtown, this bed and breakfast is the best option. The house is extremely beautiful, located in a lovely neighborhood. The owner is really nice and kind. The breakfast is delicious.

Perfect! Heidi is the nicest hostess we ever met. She takes care of you, especially fro the breakfast. The house and the area are lovely, and close the subway. When you are there, you want to stay for a long time.

It was a pleasure staying here, the woman was lovely, the breakfasts were fantastic it was just outside of town so nice and quiet in a lovely neighbourhood, the woman admits it is a work-in-progress but it was a lovely place to stay, delightful and homey.

I had a great time staying. The neighbourhood is just really lovely and the connection to the city centre is excellent. The hostel offers a great breakfast, free internet access, a great common room with pool table and the proprietor is just really nice and lovely and always has an advice or tip...

nice and cheap place to stay in and heidi is like your old friend. not for partying.the house in colonial style is super for those who like romantic old houses not in perfect shape. p.s. heidi bakes lovely muffins in the morgning

There's a nice TV, pool table and a computer to access internet which is very convenient. If we go back to Boston we will stay there again!close

It isn't molesting at all, also cleanliness is not an issue. What you get, though, is as much character as a hostel can have. Heidi's marvellous breakfast made it easier to leave the comfortable bed in the morning and her amiability made us forget the deluge outside (which was crazy by the way).
