shower overflowed and room smelled horrible, it is literally 45 minutes out of town, so a lot of time is wasted in transit, and the staff made me pay the total amount even though i had already paid the 10% deposit already- hard to explain when they barely speak english. its not a hostel, and its...

Difficult to find, to far from the city. What a pity because you cannot get a real authentic impression from Bordeaux.

A long way out of town (about an hour on 2 trams and a bus).

More a motel than a hostel, no cooking facilities or fridge, quite difficult to get to on public transport. Wouldn't stay this far out of town again with no self-catering facilities.

If you go there by car it is very good located, but in case you travel by train/bus the location is not very good.

the 601 bus DOES NOT DROP OFF outside the hotel!! it will only collect travellers and not set them down there so it ended up costing us 45 euros to get there!!

so remote - at least an hour by public transportation or a 50 euro cab ride from the train station... surrounded by abandoned strip malls and highway . not worth saving a few extra $$$!!!! also very dirty - shower drain did not function, bugs in the room, and mice on the doorstep

Room smelled smoky enough for me to leave the window open on a fairly cold and rainy night. Otherwise, comfortable and clean. Perfect location for the business traveler or for proximity to the airport.

The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. This motel is in a Bordeaux subburb (Merignac), which is in the middle of nowhere. It's surrounded by industrial buildings, with a couple fast food joints and a grocery store 15-20 min walk away. Wifi is not in the rooms, but is in the lobby. To get there from the Bordeaux train station by bus ignore their directions. Take Tram C to Port de Bourgogne, Tram A to Lycee de merignac, Bus #30 to Chateau Rouquey.close
