This hotel is on the other side of the train station, a bus ride away from anything you'd probably want to see or do in Bologna. Also, there are no computers, just a wifi connection. Besides those caveats, the rooms are nice and clean, breakfast is good, and staff is nice.

Very close to subway and easy to reach all the sites. Had to pay for internet though...

A bit of a hike out from the station and main town (about 20mins), but its totally manageable if you dont mind walking. The room was very large and clean, with nice big windows and high ceilings. The guy at reception was so sweet, but did not speak a word of english! The breakfasts are amazing, just a help yourself buffet to loads of delicious stuff. The other people staying at the hotel were a bit snooty of us backpackers, but who cares!!!close

It's a fair walk from the train station and away from the city. The walls are paper thin so you can hear everything - and I mean everything.

Friendly, helpful staff especially the older male receptionist who was happy to answer all our questions about Bologna and life in Italy generally.

Although this hotel advertises itself as being strategically located it is definitely not. It is about 20-25 mins walk from the centre of bologna. The directions given on hostelworld were not very good either..however the hotel itself was very nice.
