A beautiful place!! Great staff. They cook typical food from Bologna. It's possible it has been my best dinner in Italy. Better if you go by car. I'm sure I will return.

Beautiful spot, when you arrive at train station you need to catch bus A across the road to Piazza Cavour, from there you catch bus 52 to the place. Beautiful scenery, great hospitality, nice and relaxing.

We loved being out in the country side of Bologna - Beautiful views AND Sunsets! David and Mikako were wonderful to us! Thanks for all of your help and for a great time.

great guest ouse in country 5km from bologna :) old forniture and heating turned off on end of november :(

This was so fantastic we just loved it although it is a bit of a hike out of the city, but worth the crazy bus ride and the views are brilliant. Such friendly owners too.

I dont think this place would have been half as bad if the description on the site had not been so very wrong. it says that it takes '15 min by bus from the city center.' In reality it takes more like 45 min. In reality it takes more like 45 min. Further, there are no clear, visible markings on the gate to let you know that it's the right place. So we wandered around for another hour. Further, the bus stops running from the city at around 7pm so if you want to spend the night in bologna you need to take a cab. And you better pay attention to where the hostel is because the cab drivers do not know how to get there either. The room seemed ok and we got a key, locked the door and we went out for the night. When we got home there was a key in our door and the door was open. All of our stuff was still there, but needless to say, we did not feel safe at all. Also, the shared bathroom was in sad shape if only because the toilet only worked about half the time we were there and the bidet was leaking all over the floor. And this place wasn't even inexpensive! I would have been easier to stay in florence for the night.close
