It's actually part of the Husa chain and it had all the amenities of a 4-star hotel (TV, big rooms with comfortable beds, nice bathrooms, etc.). It's also within a short walking distance of the Guggenheim and other nice areas of Bilbao. And as you can tell by the name, they also have a spa! The staff was also quite helpful. I would definitely return!close

Its a pretty nice hotel, but its a hotel not a hostel. So if you're looking for fun and other young people, you're better off chosing a hostel. - WiFi access is not free at all (as announced), but costs as much as 9 EUR per hour or 15 EUR per day!!

Proper hotel rather than a hostel, so very nice and swish and clean, but lacking in character. Not somewhere to meet people. Good location.

This hotel is great for your pocket. Def. cost more than a hostel, but its really nice for the price your pay. The rooms are a great size and really clean.

This place is real find. After beating around from hostel to hostel, this place, which is four star rated, was like the Hilton. There's no free pool, but they have a spa in the facility that has a fantastic and cheap deal on their "baths circuit".

The staff were very patient with my poor Spanish; however if you don't know the language at all, they do get a bit annoyed. Otherwise it was a fantastic stay.

This was a VERY nice place to stay. Espcially since I payed the same for a crappy hostel in San Sebastian as I did for this hotel. I only stayed one night but it was very clean, the staff was nice, and its within walking distance to the Guggenheim museum. I recommend it!

Not a hostel at all, it's a four star hotel in the city centre. I feel bad for saying it's only averagely "fun" and "characterful" but it isn't your usual 'meet travellers' kind of place, it's more like a soulless business hotel. HOWEVER, it's really *very* posh and a total bargain at 30 euro a night per person. The location is outstanding, the rooms are huge and immaculate. If you're planning a weekend away it's perfect because you can walk everywhere in Bilbao city centre, have a tram stop just outside and a metro station within 5 mins at Abando for going to the coast etc. You probably won't spend much time in the hotel itself.close

Not the easiest to find as directions given are vague, however, the accommodation is exceptional value for money.

Husa Jardines is a great hotel, it reminded me of a hotel in the states. The staff is great and it doesn't cost much more than a hostel.
