If you are not claustrophobic it's a good place to stay at a very low price.close

Good place to stay for a few nights. Very good location, near to the tram and only 15 minutes to town. The owner didn´t speak English very well, so it was quite difficult to communicate with her.

The other big thing was that the room absolutely reeked of smoke, and as a non-smoker and a smoker who had just quit this was less than ideal. Staff were nice and left you alone and it was quiet and easily reachable, but if you really don't plan on being there other than to sleep I guess it's stomachable.close

The room was just horrible, there was a shower in "the kitchen".the sheets were dirty and it smelled like vodka on the hallway. Karim, the owner, visits your room whenever she likes and doesnt really speak english. spiders everywhere. the place is just so much fun!!!definitely worth...

The description made it sound like a private apartment, but it was actually a nice, clean hostel. While this surprise was not bad, it was not what I was expecting. The hostel is also quite a far distance from the S-Bahn, the subway in Berlin, so it takes a while to get around just because Berlin...

It is located on a cool and funky tree-lined street and is very easy to access areas like Alexanderplatz/ Mitten. The rooms are clean new and great, as are the bathrooms. They also contain everything that one might need in order to ensure a comfortable stay. The staff speak minimal english (be patient) however are very hospitable people and go out of their way to assist in any way that is possible. Overall... an awsome place :)close

So first of all, that is not the address of the hostel. I think maybe that is the home address of a person who is in charge of a few hostels in the area--I'm not really sure. I think maybe that is the home address of a person who is in charge of a few hostels in the area--I'm not really sure. So that made it a pain to check in. Also the people who ran the actual hostel were not the nicest people I have met--granted we did wake them up in the middle of the night, but it was only because the key they gave us would not open their door. They did not speak any english, and I do not expect that, but I do expect them to listen to my broken German instead of just yelling and getting upset when I am trying to explain to them that there are only 7 of us in the apartment now because 5 of us need to pick up our bags that are behind the locked door so that we can go to our other hostel that is 45 minutes outside of Berlin. Next time I won't pick a hostel 45 minutes outside of the city, but I won't pick this one, either.close
