One of the cleanest city's that I've been to in a long while. Most people would have the perception of Germans being unhelpful and unfriendly but it's completly the opposite. They go out of their way to help and almost everyone can speak English. The sites in the city are great. The transport is cheap, quick, on time and safe. Wait the whole city is safe. You can still see a bit of the East West divide in Berlin but a great city for short breaks! Even though it might be too short.

The city is beautiful. But if the DB is currently on strike you will get problem, whit getting Around. You got plenty opportunities to try out Turkish fast food. You need to get lost once in this city. It will be an adventure. The people are friendly, and helpful.

quite cheap comparing to other european cities, offers everything interesting for young people - museums, cheaper restaurants, great concerts and places to go out - anyone can find something - from rock, punk, techno, jazz, tango...whatever you like, everything open till morning.also bike city - best way to see the city, if it\'s not very cold, but if it is you have u- and s- bahns which take you anywhere. nice things to buy, a lot of alternative designers, but quite expensive. very modern and open-minded city with its specific atmosphere and charm. recommend to any person interested in cultures, travelling and partying!

Location and staff are just great... everything is nearby....and you can get buses, trains, trams. You can arrive directly from/ the Tegel airport by bus in about 30 min. Only 1 recommendation: please, as well as you clean the rooms, clean the showers... I noticed they did not do it during my stay.

I am an American studying in Germany. I like to visit Berlin because it is such a huge and sprawling city made up of many unique neighborhoods with their own history, culture, and character. Getting around is easy via the aboveground or underground trains and buses, and there are also many beautiful streets or woodsy areas perfect for exploring by foot. Don\'t expect people on the street or in businesses to be overly friendly -- that\'s just Berlin -- but you\'ll meet many interesting and open people as well. Don\'t be afraid to ask a stranger to recommend a nice club or cafe in the area, and remember that everyone speaks English too.

I think Berlin is a great capital. it is worth to visit it. Many museums, many modern architecture, good shopping centers, good parks. It is not the best capital, but it is good. Unfortunately I did not have the opportunity to party, so I cannot give you an opinion about that.

Berlin is a very underrated destination. There is a lot more to do than meets the eye. At Christmas time there is loads to do in the city. There are markets every where. The area of Gendarmarkt becomes one big outdoor market with Bratwurst\'s, mulled wine, waffles, crepes, clothes, Christmas ornaments and everything else imaginable. As well as this there is the usual attractions such as the Brandenburg Gate, Reichstag (free admission), Jewish Holocaust memorial, Berliner Dome, Museum Island, the Sony center (with I-Max cinema), Olympiastadion (Hertha BSC home ground), Friedrich street for designer shops, topography of terror, Ka Da Wee (Harrods of Berlin), Berlin zoo and the Jewish museum. Add to this great Beer that\'s very cheap, cheap restaurants serving excellent food and a few very good bars and clubs, Berlin is an excellent destination for party animals and sightseers young or old. Also the people are friendly and more than willing to speak English to you if your German is weak. The Berlin women are also the most beautiful in any city I have been in!

Berlin is an absolutely brilliant city, especially for a weekend break. If you enjoy sightseeing you will find plenty to look at here especially considering nearly all the spectaular buildings have been restored only in the last 50 years. Shopping is everywhere, from the luxury shops on Ku'Damm to little boutiques around Hackisher Markt. Berlin is split into lots of different areas and each one offers a huge choice of shops and restaurants. I have had some of the best meals i ever ate in Berlin and at a fraction of the cost of Dublin Restaurants. The nightlife is also great, bars and clubs stay open till very late, or very early in the morning"! Overall i couldn't recommend Berlin enough, visit and see! There are lots of different areas, each one full of restaurants, bars and clubs. The food is excellent and really good value for money.

What is there to stay about Berlin? It was a blast. One week is not enough time to spend in such a huge city. So many sights to see. So many restaurants. So many people. So much life. So much fun. I\'m seriously considering moving there. My only regret is that I visited during winter and not when it was warmer.

Berlin is such a cool place there is something here for everyone from sightseeing, sheek bars to fancy restaurants. There is so much culture to the city and loads of history even the zoo is pretty impressive. The nightlife is not too bad either a bar with music to suit every taste. I would not hesitate in returning to berlin in the future.

Berlin is a changing city. It has changed a lot since the knocking down of the wall about 20 years ago and will continue to change rapidly. Hence you can always go back to Berlin and there\'ll be something new there for you.

This is an amazing city! The best way is to take a bike for rent and ride through the whole city...there are a lot of parks to rest yourself. U can party every night, every way you want: reggae, small rock clubs, minimal techno clubs, big discos, squat places...people is everywhere, everytime!

The hostel was clean, safe, and comfortable. Although, it was a bit hard to find. Many times taxi drivers had no idea what street/area we were talking about to get back! Other than that the staff was friendly and helpful.

Too much to do in one weekend, wish I\'d had more time to spend there. A lot of sites to see. Great city for partying fairly inexpensively. It was easy to get around even with the U-Bahn on strike.

Berlin has two faces. There is the aging remants of World War II and the more recent East/West divide, and the newly modernized districts. There is tons of life in this city, and many of the buildings are underappreciated for their beauty in Europe. People are very nice and everything is fairly cheap.
