The owners of Pension Alte Galerie were fantastic. They were very helpful, and provided us with a wonderful breakfast every morning. Danke Schoen!

I did telephone the property to say we would be arriving after 6pm. The plane was late and we arrived at 9pm. I did appoligise , howvere the lady on reception was so rude- luckily i speak a little German and was able to apologise. She was rude to us for the rest of the stay. including telling us... more I did telephone the property to say we would be arriving after 6pm. The plane was late and we arrived at 9pm. I did appoligise , howvere the lady on reception was so rude- luckily i speak a little German and was able to apologise. She was rude to us for the rest of the stay. including telling us she was too busy to cring coffee in the morning for breakfast. The hotel was fantastic but she mared our stay. We paid extra for an ensuite room which was an old shower unit in the room which leaked - no toiletclose

Upon arrival we were told that the full amount for the room was to be paid, despite the deposit paid to Hostelworld. The owner was rude even after agreeing that the deposit was not to be paid again. On one occasion, the owner barged into our room while we were resting inside and then was slow... more Upon arrival we were told that the full amount for the room was to be paid, despite the deposit paid to Hostelworld. The owner was rude even after agreeing that the deposit was not to be paid again. On one occasion, the owner barged into our room while we were resting inside and then was slow to leave, without an apology. The listing on the Hostelworld website states that the pension has a free carpark. Upon arrival we were told that there was no free carpark and that we would have to find our own car park and that no carpark was available. This was especially disappointing as the free carpark was the primary reason why we chose this place. The whole experience in this pension left us very disappointed. We would recommend that Hostelworld remove this pension from its site on the basis of the owner´s attitude and the incorrect information supplied.close
