Bien que l'hotel soit éloigné du centre, le cadre est sympatique. l'arret de tram et de sont de toute facon tout proches et permettent d'etre en ville en 20 minutes.

They screwed up my reservation. I booked a double bed, instead I got two twin beds. It takes about half an hour to get from the hotel to the city center in Berlin. It was cheap though.

It's a little far away from the city center, but it doesn't take long to get to with the public transit and if you want to go to the forests or the concentration camp, it's very close to those.close

We were told by the staff working on that 05sep2006 night that the hotel was fully booked and the rates were increased to 65, - per night. Suddenly there was a room available for us to check in. Furthermore, we were told rudely by the staff at the reception to go and search for other hotels if we are not happy with the rates given. We had a long journey and were very tired. We had a reservation with the hotel for the next two nights at 23, - per person per night but was charged at 69, - per night. We were very disappointed about this unfriendly service.and attitude. We were also told that the rate for the night will be raised to 65, - when the rates for double was clearly advertised on the hotel glass door as DZ ab 41, - and EZ ab 31, - Therefore, our experiences with the hotel was not pleasant as we were exorbitantly charged and the rates were not effective to the advertisement and the internet. Knowing the situation then, we had no choice but to accept what is given as it was a very late night. We regret booking your hotel. Hostile staff manning the reception at the late hour of check in and no clear instructions to the hotel.close

Good standard hotel, fairly easy access, but get the u-bahn to Pankow and a tram from there, it's much quicker than the way they recommend!

The hotel was a little hard to find and it's pretty far away, but the efficient public transportation system more than made up for it. The staff is very nice and helpful, the breakfasts are good, and overall our stay was excellent. The hotel decor is awesome!

We felt really welcome at the Hotel Pankow. Very friendly staff and a great place to crash after a long night; however, it was rather far from central Berlin. It took us about 45 min to get from Tiergarten station to the hotel. Beside that, I would highly recommend this hotel.

Away from the centre of town, it has a much lower rate compared with the expensive hotels in the commercial centre of Berlin. With your own car it's pretty easy to reach the centre in 10 to 15 minutes, depending where you wanna go of course. Public transport is also available just outside the hotel for those who don't have a car. We loved our stay, the hotelstaff is very helpful, rooms with excellent beds are spacious and clean, and the breakfastbuffet offers you everything you need. If you are looking for the cheap, basic, but neat thing...this is it. We will be back for our next visit.close

A very nice and orderly place which is only slightly let down by what some would consider slightly out of the way placing. However a superb transport system does negate this

I liked this place, but it is kind of out there, especially when first coming to Berlin. Once you figure out how to get there, it is fine (about 35 minutes by public transport). The price was very good though, and breakfast was included.

Very modern and clean...it´s like sleeping in an ikea store. The staff are very friendly. If you are coming from Schonefeld airport, it takes about 50 minutes on the public transport. Also, the reception closes at 23.00 which we didn´t know, so we were lucky that we called to ask a question!

Need to update the directions as no directions from Schoenfeld. Even if we'd have come from Tegel then they seemed rather convoluted. The booklet in the rooms was really helpful for getting back at night and for finding our sense of direction.
