This hotel was not close to attractions, but was close to public transportation. The staff were nice and helpful and the room was ok for a budget hotel.

We stayed in City Pension for 3 nights and were satisfied. The location is in Western Berlin, which is a bit off from the city centre where we wanted to go, but the S-bahn runs frequently.

Very friendly staff. The rooms were clean but some toilets weren't. Also some problems with the shower (water too hot). Breakfast was ok. One evening we stayed at the hotel because of havy rains but there was not much to do.

excellant location for u bahn and s bahn giving access to all of Berlin.Some nice local bars 500metres away, but some unfriendly middle aged local did resent Englishman in their bar.Accom clean, and for the money you would have a hard time beating its val

Great value for the money we paid!! Breakfast was very good. Rooms were very comfortable. Just in front of the Metro Station. In spite of arriving in the middle of the night the staff welcomed us with a friendly smily answering all of our questions.

Really good spot to stay, the U-bahn and S-bahn are VERY close which makes it nice. Not really walking distance from the center of town.

City pension was the best! Very freindly staff who were very helpfull. So close to the S bahn wich means the hostel is 3 minutes out of the city center. All staff spoke very good english and the breakfasts were great. All round a very pleasent stay and a welcome change from Russia.
