The breakfast... more Excellent location and extremely helpful and friendly staff. Both the room and breakfast room had a feeling of good energy. The room was very spacious - large floor size and high ceilings - bright and cheerful. The building was a lovely old fashioned building with wide staircases. The breakfast was extensive and good quality though Australians note there was no toaster (though this was also the case in other establishments we stayed in too). The towels were good and both room and bathroom very clean. Superb location - one block from both the main shopping street in Berlin and from the U Bahn and buses. Easy to get to Schloss Charlottenburg using public transport, also on bus route to airport. Very good Chinese restaurant serving large, very reasonably priced meals about two doors away. This was my favourite place to stay in Germany - location, staff and ambience were great.close
