Breakfast is great, we really weren't expencing it so good, pleasently surprised. Place was clean and within walkable distance from the Bradenburg gate. Will come back!

Well located, near the Möckernbrücke U-Bahn station, excellent breakfast (great for budged travellers) and helpful staff. A small annoyance for some might be the fact they don't change bedcloth and towels everyday.

Pretty decent hostel. There was a good range of food. Unfortunately for us, the computers in the hostel was down when we were there and there wasn't any wi-fi available in the hostel.

Great place. Large capacity, nice courtyard, good breakfast included, nice bar/cafe attached, free tea/coffee, good clean rooms with good facilities. Only thing that was broken was the internet, but why sit at a computer when you're visiting Berlin anyway?

the staff was very friendly, we enjoyed our stay very much. the free coffee and tea was awesome. the only thing we didn't like were the dead moskitos on the wall in our room.

A very clean and neat hostel. Big breakfast room which is very clean too. Near metro stations and Berlin Wall. Major attractions can be easily reached by metro. Rooms are spacious, so is the attached bathroom.Staff is friendly and helpful, always with a smile. Highly recommended!

It was very unpleasant to have reserved two double bed rooms and get only bunk bed rooms. It was even more unpleasant the fact that the reception did not tell us, and we found out only when we got to the rooms and had to go back with all the luggage thinking that we accidentally got the wrong rooms.

We really liked this place (group of 7) - the rooms were clean, the free breakfast was great and the hostel was close to 2 u-bahns and within good walking distance from lots of places. Nice bar, lots of free tea and definitely good value for money.

It´s a very big hostel with lots of people from different places and ages. A lot of school excursions made breakfast room a little too busy to find a place to sit one day.Don´t forget to check at night at the board in reception the time the groups are having breakfast if you don´t want to be... more It´s a very big hostel with lots of people from different places and ages. Coffee and tea for free all day long was a really nice extra in a Berlin full of winter and snow. But two days around 00.00 there were no more coffee for free left.The security was super, you got your own key card (one for each of us in a double room). The staff very helpful, ask them for directions if you need help. There is a room in the reception to leave your bagage in for free if you leave the hostel in the morning but are travelling in the evening. The bar-cafeteria gets quite busy at nights with people talking and having a drink, good place for night´s partys. There were 2 computers in recepcion to use internet, but you have to pay for it. There were 2 lifts in the building, but quite slow. Our room had a TV hanging in the wall at a so very low high that I hurt myself by bumping on it with my head and when you wanted to change the channel you had to get up and change it touching the button with the hand, no distance- item was provided.Our room was very quiet, looking at the courtyard, not very big but enough for two beds side-by-side. The best thing was the most complete breakfast I´ve ever seen in a hostel of this price. With even meat salad!, a lot of different kinds of cheese (even Brie and Camembert), different kinds of bread, different types of yogurt, very nice jams, lots of different types of bread, toasters, eggs, nice fruit salad, cereals. Lovely breakfast time! The hostel is near a underground train station, there are not shops or restaurants (only a Greek big restaurant nearby, it seemed cheap but we didn´t try it!) around it and it´s close to the river, so not very nice neighbourghood.close

We had booked a double room (i.e. a double bed) but we ended up in a 6-bed dorm room. We were the only ones staying in the room, but it would of course have been a lot cozier with a regular double-room.

Due to the X'mas break of Hotel Aletto, they transferred our reservation to another 3 star hotel, hansablick,which provided very comfortable service

The hostel was full of screaming teenagers that kept us up all night. The cafeteria-style breakfast was not too impressive. When I booked this place it was called a "hotel", but it was really a hostel. I will never stay in a hostel again.

This was our favorite hostal ever! The beds were extrememly comfortable, the hostal was spotless, the breakfast was better than any other hostal I've stayed at, and the nightly staff was friendly and welcoming! I'd recommend it to anyone! Thanks Aletto for a great stay!!!

We had booked a double room with a double bed and private bathroom through hostelworld but were placed in a 4-bed room with bunk beds. On inquiry the staff told us that the hostel did not have any rooms with double beds at all.

i've stayed here before.the staff were very nice as usual.the location is excellent.the decor very modern.the entire hotel is spotless and the breakfast is substantial. aletto 2 is much nicer than aletto 1 which doesnt have a lift (and requires one to climb up several flights of stairs).
