Great hostel, you won't be sorry if you stay here. The free Internet is great, there are good full size lockers and the beds are good - but be aware that you only get cooking utensils if you're in an apartment and you've got to pay a one off 2.50 fee for sheets. Great place tho :-)

Singer109 is excellent. The reception area is very grand - there is even a piano! The whole place is pristine and looks newly refurbished. Security is excellent, with at least 2 key card doors before you reach your room. And there are large lockers in the rooms. The location is very good,... more Singer109 is excellent. Did not actually get to stay here cos we coud not get to berlin but the staff refunded our stay at the last minute without charge. Cheers.

Apart from the balance you need to pay at the front desk, they charge you €2.50 per person for clean sheets. I don't mind paying for that but it's be nice if you knew before hand. Also, wouldn't it be much easier and convenient to incluid it in the full price?

this hostel is very good.. nice place and nice atmospere but, so many bugs live in my beds!! i was so amazing and i couldn't sleep that night and i inspected that bugs it's so crazy!! maybe singer hostel must change the beds!!

Felt a little dodgy walking to it in the dark from the train station...alley way is a little dark but other than that great hostel and its so easy to get to everywhere else in berlin via the trains.

great hostel - close to u-bahn station and the breakfast is pretty good. hostel stayers seem to be pretty diverse and generally kind. Towels cost extra and it isnt really stationed in a happening area but is a good home base.

This is much more than hostel...the room are confortable, you can have also the perfect breakfast and the staff and the organization are efficient. I have never been in an hostel like this...

This was an amazing hostel in terms of its facilities and staff. Its acutally more like a hotel, and probably better than the lower stared hotels around Berlin. Its not much of a party place though, although has the potential for it with a cool bar (pool table and Wii) and relaxed atmosphere.... more This was an amazing hostel in terms of its facilities and staff. If you are in need of a hotel but can't quite afford it, check in here. Clean bathrooms with HOT WATER! Our dorm was hardly ever full and had massive lockers. Just one stop from Alexanderplatz....we even extended our stay.

El hotel es genial. Moderno, limpio, acogedor, espacioso, el edificio está remodelado y estéticamente es precioso. y ubicado bastante bien, cerca de un metro de las lineas principales.

As the other comments say it's just like a hotel because it is actually a hotel! I guess they just have a few rooms spare sometimes and they put a bunkbed in there which means that you can get a tidy clean room with ensuite, tv, etc. Very friendly staff and lots of freebies like WiFi and laundry... more As the other comments say it's just like a hotel because it is actually a hotel! Just a few blocks from the S and U Bahn, but there wasn't much going on within walking distance. Not much to do at the actual hostel if you are alone, but we were with a group so it was fine. The rooms were so clean and spacious, and practically like a hotel. Close to all main sights. Very friendly staff. Hotel bar and bistro are open 24/7. Very clean and newly renovated rooms. Would definately stay here again!!

Is an excellent hostel, near to center of the city, only a 20 mins aprox walk to main city sights. Vere, very clean, comfty beds, I loved this hostel and totally recomend it to everyone!!!!

This was a really excellent hostel. The lobby was large and designed to hang out in, and the 24 hour bistro sold very reasonably priced beer! Despite it being so new, Singer109 was an excellent hostel to stay in, and very convenient for Alexanderplatz. :)

great hostel, facilities are equal to if not better than a hotel. Very good location as well but not much happening in socially! after struggling for sleep and a good sower this hostel was great for me tho!!

Only about 10min walk from Alexanderplatz (or 2 stops on the U-bahn) but there is nothing much in the area, lovely hostel otherwise (more like a hotel!!) Very friendly and obliging staff. Recommended if you don't mind the wee walk to the centre!

Hostel was really nice more like a hostel, rooms were very clean and bathrooms were new and good. Only downside is that people didnt seem to use the bar downstairs as much as other hostels. harder to meet travellers.

Physically the nicest hostel I have ever stayed in. As others have said, much more like a hotel. The only negative was that because it was so much like a hotel, the environment didn't realy encourage too much socialising. This was more than made up for by the quality of the facilities though. I...

Like a hotel room shared with fellow travellers. As such, it's not a place to meet heaps of people. A great base for seeing Berlin and to rest. Nearby grocery with an awesome bakery attached. I'd recommend it.

Fantastic hostel - brand new, it's better than some hotels and so cheap. Strongly recommend this hostel - only slight downside is the location but it is still very central.

The kids who played in the court made loud noises when their ball hit against the fence of the court very early EVERY morning. It woke me up! other than that a fab hostel!
