Located only a few minutes from a metro and close to all shops/supermarkets..this hostel was a very comfortable place to stay. the kitchen/common room was well equipped and the staff were excellent. Cafe nextdoor had quick wifi and cheap beers...no complaints really. would stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay, and will definitly stay there the next time we're in Berlin. Thanks!close

Very friendly, helpful and laid-back staff. Comprehensive kitchen & common room. Room was very sufficient but cold. I'd definitely recommend this hostel for travellers looking for a relaxed, welcoming experience. Thanks guys!

Very friendly and helpful staff, laidback atmosphere, security is good but feels a little funny because the rooms look out to the street (through locked glass doors). Get advice about the neighbourhood because just a block or two away are nice restaurants, shops and cafes.

Wow, I havent ever been to a hostel with rooms available directly from the street! Thus they are a bit noisy, but it's worth the experience.

Great place to stay, really helpful and friendly staff and the dorms and bathrooms are nice and clean. A short walk to the metro system and good food/beer at the cafe next door. Only complaint was both the girls showers were broken but usable so made showering akward.

This was a really nice hostel and really easy to meet people- nice common room.. I did get moved on my last night though which I didn't really appreciate. Anyhow other than that clean and friendly and Christian at reception is great..

the staff were awesome. they'd actually stop and have a conversation with you. the new zealand cafe served up some really yummy food for good prices. the location was good as it was halfway between two metro lines so it never took very long to get anywhere. rooms were large, common room was cozy...

This was our most social hostel we stayed at. The rooms were clean. The kitchen and common room were very handy. Only complaint would be about the dark haired woman that worked there - she was very rude. Everyone is else was awesome!!

The 3.90Euro breakfast advertised at the New Zealand Cafe next door isn't exactly inspiring either - better off going for a coffee and a pastry at a corner shop for less than 2Euro to kick you off. The staff aren't exactly beacons of helpful happiness either. All up, fairly disappointing place - it's just lucky that it's in an interesting city.close

the hostel is not in the best of locations, a little far from everything. the staff were quite entertaining. Each room exits on to the street which was pretty convinent.

The hostel is fairly clean and has everything you need; the staff was a bit snappy at times and the "cheap breakfast" they offer is not worth it at all.

It was good for the price. Rooms were pretty small and funny design with rooms facing out onto the road. Could be improved with a few simple extras, like soap in the bathrooms so on. The cafe near by was nice. Berlin is awesome.

Be careful when u try to find this hostel as there are 2 streets in Berlin with the same name, and we went to the wrong one... The kitchen is great for cooking some meals, the staff are ok. The bathroom wasnt cleaned once in the 5 days we were there though. Its quite central to train and tram.
