Although it may seem Jetpak Original is located bit far from the center, it really doesn`t metter much because public transport system is very well developed in Berlin. I had no problems getting to and from hostel at any time I wanted. Especially because on weekends public transport is available...

Great place in interesting location. Maybe not for everybody, but we liked here. 15 minutes to center, calm and green district. Thanks to reception-girl! She was great and her smile drived us into better mood everytime we saw her :) special thanks to common room - we could spend there hours!!!... more Great place in interesting location. OMG THANK YOU for everything!!! We got there at night and the guys offered us to take us to the other hostel in the city centre , then they helped us a lot since i had some problems, they treated us as if we were part of their family, apart from the fact that the hostel is soooo nice, clean,... more OMG THANK YOU for everything!!! Awsome to get out the city and into the wilderness. The surrounding forest is amazing and full of awesome dogs constantly! The place really needs to have kitchen facilities though as its a decent walk to shops/places to eat. Its a hike to get there, but well worth it.

Excellent location. However, please take into account that you will have to take the subway, two buses and walk to get there. Please choose it only if you are travelling light. However the location compensate and the people at the Hostel compensate for the troubles of getting there.

This was probably the best hostel i've ever stayed in, and I've stayed some good places! the staff is so nice, and will help you with absolutely everything, it's not that central, but it´s easy to get into the city, and the beautiful location more than makes up for it!! we have stayed in 35 hostels in the past 3 months and this was by far the best. the staff are so great and the place is amazing. its in such a nice area, its a bit far from the city so if your only there for 2 nights and want to see the city maybe not here. but if you have time its the best place...

this is a little hostel in a forest of berlin but nevertheless it is very easy to reach the city centre by bus. It is very quiet but lovely. the staff is very welcoming and helpful. the rooms and showers are absolutely clean. we really enjoyed our stay.

The hostel ist very clean, in an excellent part of Berlin, and with lots of international spirit. The staff ist very nice, and it's just a very friendly atmosphere.

Though its a bit far from the city center, but the hostel is very homely. which is simply what you needed after a long walking tiring and busy day in Berlin.

This place was great! I definitely recommend and wouldn't hesitate to return. The location isn't the best, about a 15 minutes bus ride away from main areas in the city. I definitely recommend and wouldn't hesitate to return. The location isn't the best, about a 15 minutes bus ride away from main areas in the city. Being located on a nature reserve, it is slightly tucked away in the woods. During the day, it's beautiful. At night, you have to walk there on a dirt path through dimly lit woods, but it's probably only half a mile. But once you get there, the staff are SO friendly! The common area is amazingly, with video games, foosball, movies to watch... The rooms were quite acceptable and the bathrooms were spotless. Great place to spend a few nights!!!close

Well, Jetpak gets a flawless victory despite it´s located far away from downtown, it´s quite nice to stay near the woods and by far it has been the best hostel I´ve been in my entire trip... and u can also get to know easly a lot of ppl from all over the world and the stuff is just amazing....

The hostel is about 10k out of town in a really nice leafy suburb. It felt very secure and we were happy locking our bikes up outside not worrying about them being stolen. The distance wasn't really a problem at all: we were cycling round europe when we stopped off here, besides which it's only... more The hostel is about 10k out of town in a really nice leafy suburb. It felt very secure and we were happy locking our bikes up outside not worrying about them being stolen. The distance wasn't really a problem at all: we were cycling round europe when we stopped off here, besides which it's only 10k into town and even if you aren't cycling the buses are quick and easy to use... you'll probably want to buy an all day travelcard for the u and s bahn around berlin so it's no extra cost! We got back from a club at 3am on the night buses no problem! The hostel staff were very happy to help us with transport directions and where to find things in town - in fact the first question we were asked after "have you got a reservation?" was "what sort of clubs or gigs do you like to go to?"! Although German laws meant we weren't allowed to use their kitchen (we cooked on our own gas stove instead) they offered us the use of pots, pans and plates and even said they'd wash them up for us! The free all you can eat breakfast made this place great value for money and it was by far the best place we stayed on our travels.close

I absolutely loved this place. I felt at home immediately. The staff is helpful and accomadating. The hostel was well cared for and it was tucked away inside a park area which made it scenic and relaxing at the same time. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I really loved this place! I didn't mind spending approx 30 minutes to get home from city centre when it was this kind of relaxing place in the middle of the forest that i got "home" to. I have stayed on many hostels so far and this is definitely one of my favorites!

I had a sensational time here, it really felt like a home away from home. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Good hostel for time to yourself and to put your feet up and relax. Enjoy a walk in the forrest, watch a dvd in the common room, FREE internet, plenty to do.

I really wish I could rate this place more than 100%. My only problem was the location but as soon as you get used to the bus system it is great. I have never been in a cleaner hostel and the people here are sooooooooooooo, so, so friendly and kind and nice.

The nicest people run this hostle. 10 minutes to town by bus but its in a forest. has an outta town vibe but your still in the city. video games, movies, 1 euro beer and the most helpful staff imaginable. feels like a home away from home. would highly recomend this hostel to anyone visiting berlin.

Although you cannot say it is in the very <<heart>> of Berlin, it is located in a high class neighborhood. It is 30 meters into some sort of a natural reservation, which is magnificently peaceful and quiet. good and clean, very good staff, about 20 min ride on the bus from zoologischer garten train station. not too bad but you can find cheaper and closer, although probably not as clean.

Small & friendly place, I liked the location too in the forest, made a break from being in cities all the time, had some good walks in it. It was easy enough to get public transport into Berlin city. The beds & room (double) were nice, and the common area friendly. Showers were only...

Staff is excellent. Location was great for what I wanted to do (if your into the club and party scene this may be a bit out of the way) But I had an amazing time! For the price this place is superb!!! If I'm lucky enough to come back to Berlin I'm definitely booking here again!
