The security for the rooms is not good. my passport and wallet were stolen. The lockers can be opened with any key. Make sure you put valuables in the safe, no matter how trusting of a person you are.

The location of this hostel is probably its best feature. It's near historical sites and museums, and also on walking distance of places to party at night. The hostel also seemed pretty safe, and i guess you can't say cleanliness was a major problem here. The common room was also quite nice.

I enjoyed my time here. The staff were helpful, the rooms spacious and the location perfect for exploring Berlin. On the first and third day the toilets and showers were spotless. However, on the second day, one of the two toilets was blocked and both showers were blocked. That's my only... more I enjoyed my time here. Needs pans and 4 or 5 liter bowls (that do not melt in microwave). The lack of cooking implements ruined our stay. lots of cool chess boards and really nice pubes.

Great place to stay. Met many interesting people and the location was great. Only complaint I have is the staff decided to use Satan and room 666 as an example on how to lable your food. Should have considerated some of your guests may be Christian and take offence to such an example.

Great hostel, central and only one S-Bahn stop from main railway station. Good atmosphere and social place if travelling on your own. Don't expect a good night's sleep though - it's directly above a nightclub which was open till 5am on the night I stayed there (Saturday). If you can't beat them,...

It would have been a decent hostel if it was cheaper.. but for the price it just wasnt good enough. there werent enough showers or toilets and it was just shabby. If it had been about 15 euros it would have been great.

It's a very nice hostel. Staff really friendly, perfect location, nice ambient there...and quite clean. Not so noisy but close to party places...PERFECT. I would come back ther for sure.

I loved this hostel! For the price, it was awesome. Nothing much to do, but it is in a great area and the staff are helpful when you are trying to find things. The hostel offers a free walking tour-which is also awesome. My only concern is that the door was constantly left open, but will...

Loved the Hostel character, could have used a free towel though. My locker didn't work so good, but luckily the place is for true backpackers.

The best hostel I ever have been to! Great location, wonderful staff, nice breakfast and very clean. The lobby feels like your own living room in a good way. Just the living is worth to come back to Berlin for. I will recognise it to everybody I know.

While staying at this hostel, I woke up in the middle of the night and was surrounded by 13 men sleeping in boxers. Reception admitted to have placed me in a 14-bed male dorm instead of the 13-bed dorm I booked online. Did not get my money back either. In a great location, the staff were very friendly and the rooms were clean and spacious. There isn't really a 'kitchen' though, as there were no pots or pans to cook with, it was really just a microwave, fridge and oven. Other than that it was good, though.

GOOD HOSTEL!! great staff, great location, great facility(clean shower room!)! Bedroom is spacious, and that was amazing. one thing that not good was, my room was just next to the stairs and I was bothered with noise from downstairs (there's a lounge) till early morning.... This was a wonderful hostel! The staff was great, and the atmosphere was delightful. The only problem was that there were more beds than security lockers in the rooms, but there were lockers outside the rooms for use as well. Overall a great experience!

Good breakfast - worth more than just the 3euros they charge for it. CLEAN CLEAN Showers with plenty of privacy. I liked it so much that I booked my next stay in Berlin with them before I checked out!

great place! full kitchen, nice common area, helpful and knowledgeable staff. i stayed in a 14 bed room, but it was still extremely spacious and open. The man who works the night shift and wears a camo jacket offers amazing nightlife advice. very near a main S-bahn stop. stay here.

In the weekend there's a lot of noise from the club downstairs. If you want to meet people it's a good place, if you want a good nigth sleep it isn't. There aren't many toilets and showers.

Excellent location near a main train station. Kitchen facilities good. Rooms were quite large (plenty of space for backpacks and bags) but hot and stuffy during summer's heatwave. Great place to meet people.
