Awesome hostel, they made me feel really important on my birthday and so I had a great time. Breakfast is 3euro but amazing Showers are huge just have to keep pushing the button. Good location compared to sights / transport and entertainment.

A great location for all sorts of interesting bars and places to eat in the evening. One criticism was that the windows didn't open and the room had no fresh air or ventilation. When there are six people sleeping in the same room you need some air!

im not one for huge hostels, so this wasnt my fave. most of the staff, with a few exceptions of course!, werent very friendly or helpful. aside from that, the rooms were nice and big and the brekky was well woth the money!the location was also very good.

One of those stays where other hostelers make you hate a place. But, being fair: nice big rooms, nice bar area. Aforementioned 3-second shower a bit ridiculous. the location is excelent, the common room bit is also quite good plenty oportunities to meet people and hve a drink or watever, the rooms are ok as well, no problems,the rooms at its sister hostel on the same street (helter skelter) are a bit more comfortable but this hostel is a bit bigger and...

3euros for buffet breakfast plus 50 cents per breakfast drink - good value. Happy hour on internet between 11pm and 8am so you 4 hours for 4 euros instead of just 2 hours. Hitchikers guide to the galaxy themed - a bit extreme decorating but good

Very clean and secure, a reasonable distance from tourist stuff. The staff were a bit weird. I was sick and I asked to borrow one of the DVDs they have on display downstairs because I was bored and the guy looked at me like I was Hitler.

The hostel felt very safe, and it was clean but not sterilized: the facility felt more like a chilax hotel than a hostel. But the overall character was not exceptional.

Really great hostel, clean, lot of fun, great living room ! Great breakfast for 3 euro (+0,5 euro for cofee or juice) Will come back to this hostel for sure !

Whimsical decor, excellent 3 Euro breakfast & lovely staff & I was impressed to find the bartender in towel, bare feet and beard in true Hitchikers style. Not that many bathrooms for all the rooms and mattress was a bit saggy but overall an excellent hostel & just across the block...

Hostel is easy to find and quite convenient to getting to the touristy points. The bathrooms needed to be cleaned properly, I don't think it was even done every day at least that is how they looked. Staff we quite friendly and able to help with most queries.

Very good location (half minute walk from S-Bahn station, 1 stop from Friedrichstraße). Helpful staff, especially the guy named Yannis who speaks greek!! Good internet speed, and free Wi-Fi.

We were here for a week, over a weekend. The staff are very helpful, if a little grumpy at times, but this isnt really a big deal. The rooms are cleaned every day, there are clean bathrooms and showers on every floor. The showers are a little weird, there is a just a shower curtain between you and the rest of the toilet, but you can lock yourself in the whole room, so it works out ok. The bar is 24 hours, a great communal area - they asked us to be quiet a bit, but that was fair enough. Only about a 15 minute walk to the Brandenburg Gate, great arty areas around the corner. Hostel provides lots of info on tours and free maps. Breakfast is good, you can stock up on bread rolls and cheese. The bar lets you bring your own food and alcohol - big bonus. Internet was good, computers not amazing but did the job. Overall, really really satisfied!close

New building, like a hotel. Clean, quiet, confortable. Close to markets, tram, metro and rail. Very good bathrooms. Secure. Not party hostel. Good if you want to sleep. Good breakfast. Expensive internet.

Hostel was nice and clean. Bathroom sinks seemed to get pretty dirty by the end of the day, which was kind of gross. Pretty quiet while we were there. Good location - easy/close walking distance to most things. Close to the subway station that is one stop away from the main train station....
