If you are looking for a Paella, this is the place. The price are a little bit more expensive than in other restaurants around town, but it location is great, with sea view. It is located in the Maremagnum shopping center. |

I could smell this restaurant before I could see it and that’s what drew me in! I always think the sign of a good restaurant, especially somewhere like Spain, is that it is packed full of local people and this place was certainly packed! When you walk in you find yourself in a small bar and have to force your way to the back, up a flight of stairs, through the kitchen and then you are shown to your table (an adventure in itself!). The walls are covered with photos of famous guests and there is no doubting that the place aimed towards tourists. I had the spit roast chicken which was great and the snails (a speciality) where also surprisingly good! Not the kind of place for a cheap or quiet meal but well worth a look! |

Lovely restaurant in a little square called Plaza Real, just off Las Ramblas. Make sure you are there before the qeue gets too long, we waited for a table for over half hour but it was worth it. |

Tourist beware! This tapas place is on Pa de Gracia close to the Majestic hotel. We went there one night and got ripped off. The non-smiling waiters were only happy to invite us in and sit us down. The then put a small tapas in front of us, which we assumed was a tester. Only to find it charged to our bill. They also charged us extra for bread. We paid the bill and got out of there, never to return. |

Juicy Jones could be described as a psychedelic eatery or an authentic hippie cafe with a great buzz! It caters for both vegetarians and vegans and the menu comprises salads, soups, indian dishes, beers etc. It is a bright and cheeful place and the service is impeccable. Various tapa dishes are available and they make delicous homemade cookies. They also have a great variety of health juices available - gingseng, aloe vere and exotic green tea to name but a few. The restaurant is comfortable and the walls are painted in a mirage of splendid colours- enough to brighten up any traveller's day! Juicy Jones is a true gem. |

Friendly self-service cafe with delicious pitta bread and snacks for Vegetarians with a variety of fillings to choose from including falafel, hummus, chickpeas, lentil salads, jalapenos etc. The exceptionally good food is healthy and wholesome and will appeal to most vegetarians. Maos is a local restaurant chain but it is not a fast food joint - moreso a place to grab a quick cheap and healthy snack. Expect to queue during busy lunchtime hours. |

Restaurant Jaume is located in the popular Gothic Quarter of Barcelona right off Placa St Jaume.Popular with tourists, its menu is varied and caters for all. The retaurant serves typical Catalan dishes which are reasonably priced. If you are feeling adventurous try the black ink paella but remember to wash your teeth after as the ink stains! An excellent variety of wines are available and the waitors are more than helpful. A nice place to wind down after a day's sightseeing. |

Situated close to Las Ramblas and Place St Jaume, Cafe Schilling is one of the oldest traditional coffee houses of Barcelona. The exterior is painted black in a classy art-deco style. The fresh aroma of coffee is delightful and its the kind of place you could spend hours reading a book or newspaper in peace. The antique furniture and pictures on the walls add a touch of class to the cafe and its food menu definitely satisfies with a good selection of sandwiches, cakes and even icecream. It was one of my favourite spots for a coffee in Barcelona. |

No trip to Barcelona is complete without a visit here. Buy some tapas and you can get bottles of champagne for as little as €2.50! Well you could when i was there anyway, and that was two years ago. It gets pretty manic though so you need to get down early. |

Off Las Ramblas, between La Placa Real and the Irish pub, a wonderful mid priced restaurant with an eclectic menu and excellent food. Dinner only. Booking advised. |

Ciudad Condal is a great cerveceria on Rambla Catalunya. It seems to get really busy or at least it was when I was there so expect to wait a while but when you can pass the time with a glass of wine for less than €2 you are you really going to care! You can sit at the bar and check out what's on offer or wait to be seated. It's quite a big place with tables upstairs. Be sure to try the pimientos with cod and the patatas bravas. Wasn't mad about the croquetas in this place so I would give them a miss. |

This place is located at 126 Las Ramblas. We only tried it for breakfast but it was always busy. Lovely croissants, fresh juice and café con leche. |

I felt this place was a bit overpriced compared to some of the other tapas places we visited in Barcelona. We only went in to have a glass of wine and ended up having a couple of tapas and the bill was higher than in some of the places where we had what would you consider a full meal. That said it probably caters more towards tourists as it is right on Las Ramblas. The staff were great though and they alone made it worth the few extra Euros! |

This place ba ba reeba is very central on Passeig de Gracia so it's a good place to wind down after a hard days shopping. It's very modern compared to the traditional cervecerias. There were quite a lot of tourists eating here but it still seems to be popular with locals. |

A beautiful seafood restaurant, absolutely delicious – every plate was returned to the kitchen perfectly cleaned! A tad pricier than the average meal in Barcelona and probably a bit off the beaten path for most travellers, this is a really wonderful restaurant which is hugely popular with locals. Booking is essential if dining at the weekend. |

La Luna barcelona, restaurant located in the born, lovely decor and great food. Enjoyed their T-bone steak with smoked Potatoes & a Creole sauce, yummy. Really liked this restaurant and came back later in the night after the meal and the place was humming with interesting people. Located about 20 metres from the Santa Maria del Mar church this place is a must..Book restaurants before you got as it gets busy. |

Located just off La Rambla on a side street between McDonalds and KFC.
Attractive building with large glass windows (great for people watching). The menu is available in both Catalan and English. Excellent food (e.g. chicken salad 4.25 euros), very reasonably priced drinks (Coca Cola 1.70 euros, beer 1.90 euros and coffee 1.00 euro). Staff are very friendly, would recommended the apple pie! |

Loved it.. went to Barcelona for the weekend with 15 mates and spent most of our time around the born. A lot more relaxed than ramblas area of the city. Great bars too.. we went to La Luna twice. The good was great, atmosphere lively and had a blast. Thanks to Fabio and crew for looking after us way after closing time.. Will be back and telling everyone to visit La Luna as it rocks my world.. |

La Luna was a restaurant we bumped into quite by accident, but its a cool place to kick off your night.. Cocktail list to die for and great food. Great drinks and classy, in-the-know clientele will guarantee you a rocking time in the best city in the world! Viva Barcelona and long may it tickle my fancy! |

There's two on this road... one going to via Liatiana near St Jaume station.
It's probably one of the healthy options for lunch. You get 3 options - falafel in a bun with brown or white bread, You can order chips and a beer/water/can of coke, or you can get their inclusive offer. Infact between this and pans - you'll like this better!
A word of warning their CHILLI mix looks innocent, but is really hot. I mean don't dip this on yor food and into your eye or kiss your partner!
For about 7 euro [£4.50] you get a beer, fries and a sod off sized falafel. The only downside is that the seating is not very big and there's no aircon. Saying that, you can eat within 10 mins so it don't bother me! |

Went to Les Quinze Nits just off the Ramblas on a recommendation of a friend. Very popular. Had to wait approx 30 mins for a table but well worth it. Food is fantastic and service was very good. Portions very good, food extremely tasty, prices keen. Definitely happy to recommend to others. |

It has changed a lot... It used to serve bottles of cava, after buying 2 sandwiches or any other type of food. Nowadays, after 5 p.m., they only serve glasses of cava. Besides, never forget, the person that will serve on the balcony, will be rude, very rude! |
