“ Torre d'Alta Mar was a fabulous setting and has arguably the best view of any restaurant in Barcelona. The food was very nice but I feel there was almost too much effort in the dishes and very nearly spoilt them. ”

“ Our second visit to the Torre d'Alta Mar. A must for anyone who wants a special evening meal during there visit to this beautiful City. The food is very rich but good although the portions are fashionably small. The magic is in the venue/view and getting up to the top of this magnicifant cable car tower. Enjoy as a romantic evening or family gathering. ”

Description of Torre d'Alta Mar from toptable.com
"When you step out of the high-tech lift into the lobby of the Torre d'Alta Mar, 75 metres above the sea, you just may have an out-of-body moment. The 360 degree view is that spectacular, the sea and the city at your feet, the encircling hills in the distance. It has certainly attracted its share of architects, actors, and artists. But this high-end, luxury restaurant does everything in its power to distract you. The fittings are elegant and modern, the Catalan food (emphasis on fish) with its international influences right up there with the standards expected of a restaurant in Barcelona now. Dishes include starter of cod and lobster envelopes with black olive oil and mixed veg and main course of seabass with sauteed greens, shiitake, rice noodles, soya and sesame. Wines and service are very good, too. Remember to request a table by the window!"
