136This is a brilliant hotel, with the perfect location in Barcelona. Located on La Rambla, it is right in the center of the city and you can get to anywhere from there. The hotel is really nice and the rooms are perfect and comfortable. The staff were also really nice and I would definitely go here...

We wanted to have a drink in the bar but it was... more This hotel is perfectly located and the staff couldn't be nicer. The building, an old nineteenth century palace is gorgeous but I felt it lacked atmosphere. The reception area is very bare and there didn't seem to be any other guests around. We wanted to have a drink in the bar but it was completely deserted so we went elsewhere. Despite this small gripe the rooms are big and spacious and are more like suites. The beds are electronic so you just need to push a button to move the bed up and down! There is also a Jacuzzi bath which is nice after a long day of sightseeing or shopping. If you are a light sleeper you may need to request a room at the back of the hotel. I didn't find the noise to be a problem but if you find it difficult to sleep this may be a problem. Overall, this is a nice hotel for a break in Barcelona.close
