The hostel was excellently equipped and the staff were very helpful, the only downside was the amount of time it took to get into the city centre.

very friendly, helpful and competent staff;clean rooms, big bathrooms, delicious breakfast, a little bit far from the buzz. but within a 12 min walk you are at the metro station and from there its just a jump to any place in the city. this "resort" is to recommend!!!

Great Hostel!!!! I would definately go back! The place was clean, had places to relax. The instructions on how to find the hostel were a little unclear but other than that it was great!

Its a fine students hostel, with a pool and friendly staff, but the location is too fat from the city center. At least for us 40 minutes by bus is pretty far :) but the rest is really fine :)

The website didn´t say they were still working and the hostel was not willing to refund at least a little bit of money. NO place to stay for those who like to sleep in the morning;-( Also, one window could not be locked, so s.o. could have broke in easily.close

A hostel with a swimming pool on the roof, a gym and a free breakfast with fresh fruits makes you forget that it takes half hour to get to the city

More like a hotel than a hostel hence the poor marks for character and fun. But the facilities are amazing. Buffet lunch a dinner were fantastic, swimming pool on the roof, amazing computer room, pool tables, and the place is spotless. Bit out of the way. Cost us €15 to get into the beach.

It took me half an hour to find out where to take bus, and another 1 hour to find the RUS after getting off the bus. However, bus 66 terminates just in front of the building, and a tube station is in 10 minutes' walk (if you know where it is). It is said there is a swimming pool on the top of the building. We were unlucky, it happened to be out of order when we got there, but it looked being that for a quite long time. The gym and other swimming pools in the nearby sport center only open in daytime, so I had no chance to use them, but I have to say they look excellent.close

The only negative thing I can say about this place is that it is quite far from the city center and all the sights. Hostelworld advertized that it was just minutes from the city center, but its at least a 45 minute bus ride (although the bus is very convenient to the hostel). People should be aware of how far it is from Paza Catalunya and the main areas.close

Far distance from town but the buses are easy enough. €6.65 'T10' carnet tickets are the way to go.

The bus ride to the center takes about half an hour, but the bus stop is right in front of the door. So the distance to the center isn't really a problem. I really enjoyed the cleanliness of this hostel and the breakfast buffet (tip: be on time!).

The accomodation was pretty fine, clean, breakfast was plenty and very good. The only downside of the hostel is its distance from the city centre (30-40 mins to get to Plaza Catalunya). No problem if you end up staying in the city center rather late, the N8 night bus just drops you off a fine 10...

The Residence is very clean, and they offer a pool, pool tables (pay per use), and sitting areas. The breakfast is amazing and included in your cost - we got our coffee fill! There are other facilities as well, including a jacuzzi, saunas and a gym that are accross the way from the building. One thing you need to know though...if you are planning on training out of Barcelona and have not booked, think about doing it in advance on the internet. The train station here is a nightmare, and it really doesn´t matter if the employees speak english or not, they are - for the most part - extremely rude, and would not help you if they had the choice.close
